HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
Know Your Ice Maker
The ice maker consists of the following main parts:
- Exterior Components: Top lid, viewing window, front cover, hole plug, front housing, back housing.
- Interior Components: Evaporator, ice tray, ice shovel, water reservoir, ice basket, ice scoop.
- Control Panel Area: Control panel, infrared light-receiving diode, filter, drain plug, "MAX" water level indicator.
(Product may be subject to change without prior notice)
Control Panel
The control panel features indicator lights for different functions:
- ADD WATER: Lights up when the water reservoir is low.
- ICE FULL: Lights up when the ice basket is full.
- POWER: Indicates the operating status. Blinks in standby mode and lights solidly when working.
Before First Use
- Unpack the appliance and check that all accessories, including the ice basket and ice scoop, are included. Contact customer service if any accessories are missing.
- Ensure the ice maker is level and on a stable table or platform to avoid malfunction.
- The incline angle of the ice maker cabinet should not exceed 45° during transportation or use. Do not turn the ice maker upside down, as this could cause the compressor or refrigerating system to operate incorrectly. Allow time for the fluids in the compressor to settle after moving or transporting the unit. Before first use, wait for 2 hours after the unit has been leveled and positioned correctly.
- Place the appliance on a dry, level surface with sufficient ventilation, away from heat sources like ovens, heaters, and corrosive gases. Leave approximately 6 inches (15 cm) clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.
- Do not fill the water reservoir with hot water, as this may damage the ice maker. It is best to fill with room temperature or cooler water.
- Do not use the appliance in a very cold environment (below 5°C).
- Clean the appliance following the "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE" instructions before operating.
Use Your Ice Maker
- Ensure the drain plug at the bottom of the water reservoir is closed securely.
- Plug the ice maker into the wall outlet; the "POWER" indicator will blink. NOTE: Allow the ice maker to rest for 30 minutes before plugging in if it has been moved.
- Open the top lid and remove the ice basket.
- Fill the water reservoir with drinking water. NOTE: Do not fill above the MAX water level mark.
- Replace the ice basket and close the top lid.
- Press the "ON/OFF" key; the "POWER" indicator will light solidly.
- The ice-making cycle will last approximately 7-15 minutes, depending on ambient and water temperature.
- The ice-making cycle begins by pumping water into the ice tray below the evaporator. Over the next 7-15 minutes, ice forms on the evaporator. Once complete, the ice tray tilts backward, draining remaining water back into the reservoir. Ice cubes are then dropped from the evaporator and pushed into the ice basket by the ice shovel. The ice tray automatically returns to position under the evaporator to start the next cycle.
- The "ICE FULL" indicator lights up when the ice basket is full, and the ice maker automatically stops the ice-making cycle. Gently remove ice from the basket with the ice scoop. The ice maker will restart its ice-making function automatically after about 5 seconds.
- The "ADD WATER" indicator lights up when the water reservoir is low, and the ice-making cycle stops automatically. Remove the ice basket, add water to the reservoir, and press the "ON/OFF" key again to restart the cycle. The appliance will automatically start working after about 20 minutes if the operator forgets to restart it after refilling.
- When you have the desired amount of ice, stop the ice-making cycle by pressing the "ON/OFF" key and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
- Open the top lid and transfer the ice to a freezer.
- Allow the ice maker to reach room temperature.
- It is suggested to replace the water weekly. Empty the water reservoir if the ice maker is not used for a long time.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To keep your ice tasting fresh and your ice maker looking great, cleaning once per week is recommended.
- Stop the ice-making cycle by pressing the "ON/OFF" key, unplug the ice maker from the wall outlet, and allow it to warm up to room temperature.
- If residual water is found in the ice tray, gently push the ice tray back so all water drains into the water reservoir.
- Move the appliance forward 60mm from the working table and open the drain plug to drain excess water (see Fig. 1, Fig. 2, and Fig. 3).
- Remove the ice basket.
- Clean the ice maker interior with a soft cloth soaked in warm water and vinegar, then rinse with clean water and drain all water.
- Replace the drain plug securely. Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.
- Clean the exterior of the ice maker with a soft damp cloth. Use mild dishwashing soap if necessary.
NOTE:
- Do not use organic solvents, boiled water, detergents, strong acids, or strong alkalis for cleaning.
- Do not clean the evaporator.
- Empty and dry the water reservoir for storage if the ice maker is not used for a long time.

Remove the ice from the ice basket. 2a. Wipe up foreign objects on the infrared light-emitting diode & light-receiving diode and restart the ice maker. 2b. Call Customer Service if the infrared light-emitting diode & light-receiving diode still cannot work after wiping up the foreign objects and restarting the ice maker. |
"ADD WATER" and "ICE FULL" indicators turn on simultaneously | 1. The ice tray is not in the right position. 2. The "ICE FULL" condition cannot be detected as the infrared light module is interfered by sunlight. | 1. Unplug the appliance and check if the ice tray is blocked by something. 2. Unplug the appliance and move it to a place not exposed to sunlight, then plug in and activate again. |
The ice collects together. | Making ice takes too much time. | Stop making ice and restart the ice-making cycle after the ice melts. |
The water in the water reservoir is at too low a temperature. | Fill the water reservoir with water ranging between 8°C and 25°C.
The ice-making cycle seems normal but no ice is produced. | The ambient temperature or water temperature is too high. | Operate the ice maker in an environment with an ambient temperature below 32°C and fill the water reservoir with some cold water. |
Refrigerating system leaks | Call customer service.
Refrigerating system blocks | Call customer service.
Poor ice-making result | 1. Poor heat dissipation. 2. The water temperature is too high. 3. The ambient temperature is too high. | 1.
