Installation Guide
Follow these general steps to build your PC inside the Atos ARGB Mini case. Always ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before performing any hardware installations. ?
Step 1: Preparation
Unpack all components. Remove the side panels of the case. Identify all screws and accessories provided.
Step 2: Motherboard Installation
Install the CPU, RAM, and M.2 SSD (if applicable) onto the motherboard before mounting it into the case. Align the motherboard with the standoffs inside the case and secure it with screws. Ensure the I/O shield is correctly installed in the case cutout. ⬆️
Step 3: Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
Remove the appropriate expansion slot covers on the rear of the case. Align the GPU with the PCIe slot on the motherboard and press down firmly until it clicks. Secure the GPU bracket to the case with screws. ➡️
Step 4: Storage Drive Installation
Mount your 3.5" HDDs or 2.5" SSDs into the designated drive bays or mounting points. Secure them with screws. ?
Step 5: Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
Install the PSU into its designated compartment, usually at the bottom rear of the case. Secure it with screws from the outside. ⬇️
Step 6: Cable Management
Connect all necessary power and data cables from the PSU to the motherboard, GPU, and storage drives. Route cables through the case's cutouts and tie them down using zip ties or Velcro straps for a clean build and improved airflow. ?
Step 7: Front Panel Connectors
Connect the case's front panel cables (power button, reset button, USB, audio, ARGB) to the corresponding headers on the motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for correct header locations. ?
Step 8: Final Checks
Double-check all connections. Ensure no loose screws or cables are obstructing fans. Reattach the side panels. ✔️
ARGB Lighting Control
The Atos ARGB Mini features integrated addressable RGB lighting. To control the lighting:
- Motherboard Sync: Connect the ARGB header cable from the case to the 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard. Use your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion) to customize colors and effects. ?
- Manual Control: If not connecting to the motherboard, the case may have a dedicated button (often on the top panel) to cycle through pre-set lighting modes and colors. ?
Note: Ensure the ARGB power cable is also connected to the PSU if required by the specific lighting controller.
Safety and Care
- Tempered Glass: Handle the side panel with care to avoid scratches or impacts. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. ?
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth for dusting. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and ensure the case is dry before powering on. Avoid harsh chemicals. ?
- Ventilation: Ensure all fan mounts and ventilation grills are unobstructed to maintain optimal cooling performance. ?
