Product Bulletin: New Wave Tool Advance

TOSHIBA confirms the new "Wave Tool Advance for SMMS-u and DX Coil Interface Advance series" has been added to the VRF product range.

1. Wave Tool

Wave Tool Advance (WTA) for SMMS-u is an App for smartphone installation and maintenance of compatible air conditioning equipment. This App enables the checking of some aspects of the system and test functions of compatible AC equipment.

The app interface displays options for "iOS Version" and "Android OS version". It utilizes the NFC function of smartphones, indicated by a wireless symbol.

This App uses the NFC function of smartphones. Since the NFC function is only available on iPhone 7 or newer, this App cannot be used on older models.

Can display TA/TF/DDC sensors (when the new DX Coil Interface Advance is connected to SMMS-u).

3. Functions

Main functions

Function	Description
Test Operation Function	Setup function used during the test operation.
Auto Saved Data Output	Read out the information automatically saved in an outdoor unit.
Save Data to Outdoor Unit	Enable other workers to read and share information anytime on site. Same functions are available while an air conditioning unit is not powered on.
Capture	Acquire operation data at the time when you touch your smartphone to an outdoor unit, or you set a timer.
Simple Report	Use the functions installed in the smartphone to create simple reports.
Data Management	Search and edit the data saved in your smartphone.
Help	Show help functions of the Wave Tool Advance NFC system settings, NFC tag replacement methods, and Abbreviations.
