This datasheet summarizes the THR30II Wireless, THR10II Wireless, and THR10II as THR-II. THR30II Wireless and THR10II Wireless are referred to as THR-II Wireless.

Power

The THR-II Wireless can be powered by AC (via the AC adapter) or the built-in battery. The THR10II can be powered by AC (via the AC adapter).

Using the AC Adapter

Plug the supplied AC adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear of the THR-II. Plug the AC plug into an outlet. Refer to the Safety Instructions before connecting.

Powering On/Off

Press and hold the [power] button on the top of the THR-II for one second to turn it on. The power button LED lights up when powered on. The THR-II Wireless LED lights up green when charging. Otherwise, it lights up red.

Charging the Battery (THR-II Wireless only)

Plug the supplied AC adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear of the THR-II Wireless. The power button LED lights up green while charging.

Connection

The THR-II can be connected via a cable with a guitar cable or wirelessly.

Wireless Connection to Guitar (THR-II Wireless only)

The THR-II Wireless can be wirelessly connected to the Line 6 Relay G10T wireless guitar transmitter. You can also automatically set the optimal channel by connecting the Relay G10T to the INPUT jack on the top of the THR-II Wireless for at least 10 seconds. For details on wireless connection, refer to the Reference Manual.

Charging the Relay G10T (THR-II Wireless only)

Connect the Relay G10T to the INPUT jack on the top of the THR-II Wireless. The built-in battery will start charging automatically.

Connecting to a Smart Device via Bluetooth

Press the Bluetooth button on the top of the THR-II and operate the smart device as shown in the table below. (To activate Bluetooth on the THR10II Wireless and THR10II, press the [USER MEMORY] buttons [4] and [5] simultaneously.)

Tuner On/Off

Press the [TUNER TAP] button for one second to turn the tuner on. Press the [TUNER TAP] button again to turn it off. For more information on the tuner, refer to the Reference Manual.

Saving User Settings

Settings for the knobs on the top of the THR-II (except [GUITAR] and [AUDIO] knobs) are saved in user memory. Press one of the [USER MEMORY] buttons for 2 seconds to save your settings to that preset slot. For more information on user memory, refer to the Reference Manual.

Application Software

The tone and settings of the THR-II can also be edited using the THR Remote app. THR Remote can be used (in addition to the top panel controls) to edit settings such as compressor, noise gate, and speaker cabinet.

Notes:

  • Ensure all devices to be connected by cable are turned off.
  • When connecting the unit to an external device, use a cable that matches the technical specifications of the jack before connecting.

Precautions for USB Jack Use

  • Use a USB Type AB cable shorter than 3 meters. USB 3.0 cables must not be used.
  • Wake the computer from Suspend/Sleep/Standby mode before connecting it to the USB jack.
  • Close all applications running on the computer before plugging or unplugging the USB cable, and set the computer's volume to minimum.
  • When plugging or unplugging the USB cable, ensure the OUTPUT knobs ([GUITAR] and [AUDIO]) on the THR-II are set to minimum.
  • Wait at least 6 seconds between plugging and unplugging the USB cable.

Troubleshooting

No Power

  • Is the AC adapter connected correctly?
  • If the AC adapter is unplugged, was the THR-II Wireless charged properly?

Bluetooth Connection to Smart Device Not Working

  • Is the LED display off or blinking green? Refer to the Reference Manual.
  • Is the Bluetooth setting on the smart device configured correctly? Refer to your smart device's user manual.

No Sound Output with Wireless Guitar Connection

  • Are you using the Relay G10T? THR-II Wireless can only be connected to the Line 6 Relay G10T wireless guitar transmitter.
  • Did you plug the Relay G10T into the INPUT jack on the top of the THR-II Wireless for at least 10 seconds? The correct channel is set automatically.
  • Is the instrument volume turned up?
  • Is the Tuner function set to OFF? When the Tuner function is ON, the guitar sound is muted. Press the [TUNER TAP] button (for less than one second) to turn off the Tuner function.
