VIII. Installation Tips
- Ensure you have a soldering tool ready.
- Be patient during the installation process.
- This is a DIY kit requiring user assembly.
- Avoid prolonged contact (over 1.0 second) between the soldering iron and components to prevent damage.
- Pay close attention to the polarity of components.
- Do not create short circuits.
- Install LEDs according to the specified orientation to ensure they light up.
- Install complex components first.
- Verify all components are correctly oriented and placed.
- Test all LEDs to confirm they illuminate.
- Read the installation manual thoroughly before starting.
- Wear anti-static gloves or wristbands when handling electronic components.
IX. Installation Steps
- Step 1: Install four 330ohm Metal Film Resistors at R5-R8.
- Step 2: Install two 1Kohm Metal Film Resistors at R2, R3.
- Step 3: Install one 10Kohm Metal Film Resistor at R4.
- Step 4: Install one 15Kohm Metal Film Resistor at R1.
- Step 5: Install 18 LEDs at D1-D18. The longer pin (positive pole) should be inserted into the rectangular pad, and the shorter pin into the round pad.
- Step 6: Install two 0.1uF 104 Ceramic Capacitors at C1, C2.
- Step 7: Install one TO-92 78L05 Voltage Regulator at U3.
- Step 8: Install two TO-92 S8050 Transistors at Q1, Q2.
- Step 9: Install one DIP-16 CD4017 IC at U1. Align the mark on the IC with the corresponding mark on the PCB for correct orientation.
- Step 10: Install two 10uF 25V Electrolytic Capacitors at C3, C4. Ensure the longer pin (positive pole) is inserted into the rectangular pad.
