Instrucciones generales de seguridad para herramientas eléctricas
1) Puesto de trabajo a) Mantenga limipo y bien iluminado su puesto de trabajo. El desorden y una iluminación deficiente en las áreas de trabajo pueden provocar accidentes. b) No utilice la herramienta eléctrica en un entorno con peligro de explosión, en el que se encuentren combustibles líquidos, gases o material en polvo. Las herramientas eléctricas producen chispas que pueden llegar a inflamar los materiales en polvo o vapores. c) Mantenga alejados a los niños y otras personas de su puesto de trabajo al emplear la herramienta eléctrica. Una distracción le puede hacer perder el control sobre el aparato.
2) Seguridad eléctrica a) El enchufe de la herramienta eléctrica debe corresponder a la toma de corriente utilizada. No es admisible modificar el enchufe en forma alguna. No emplee adaptadores con herramientas eléctricas dotadas de una toma de tierra. Los enchufes sin modificar adecuados a las respectivas tomas de corriente reducen el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica. b) Evite que su cuerpo toque partes conectadas a tierra como tuberías, radiadores, cocinas y refrigeradores. El riesgo a quedar expuesto a una sacudida eléctrica es mayor si su cuerpo tiene contacto con tierra. c) No exponga las herramientas eléctricas a la lluvia y evite que penetren líquidos en su interior. Existe el peligro de recibir una descarga eléctrica si penetran ciertos líquidos en la herramienta eléctrica. d) No utilice el cable de red para transportar o colgar la herramienta eléctrica, ni tire de él para sacar el enchufe de la toma de corriente. Mantenga el cable de red alejado del calor, aceite, esquinas cortantes o piezas móviles. Los cables de red dañados o enredados pueden provocar una descarga eléctrica. e) Al trabajar con la herramienta eléctrica a la intemperie utilice solamente cables de prolongación homologados para su uso en exteriores. La utilización de un cable de prolongación adecuado para su uso en exteriores reduce el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica. f) Si fuera necesario utilizar la herramienta eléctrica en un entorno húmedo, utilice un interruptor de protección diferencial. La utilización de un cable de prolongación adecuado para su uso en exteriores reduce el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica.
3) Seguridad de personas a) Esté atento a lo que hace y emplee la herramienta eléctrica con prudencia. No utilice la herramienta eléctrica si estuviese cansado, ni tampoco después de haber consumido alcohol, drogas o medicamentos. El no estar atento durante el uso de una herramienta eléctrica puede provocarle serias lesiones.
b) Utilice un equipo de protección y en todo caso unas gafas de protección. El riesgo de lesionarse se reduce considerablemente si, dependiendo del tipo y la aplicación de la herramienta eléctrica empleada, se utiliza un equipo de protección adecuado como una mascarilla antipolvo, zapatos de seguridad con suela antideslizante, casco, o protectores auditivos. c) Evite una puesta en marcha fortuita del aparato. Asegúrese de que la herramienta eléctrica está apa-

gada antes de conectarla a la toma de corriente y/o la batería, de desconectarla o de transportarla. Si transporta la herramienta eléctrica sujetándola por el interruptor de conexión/desconexión, o si introduce el enchufe en la toma de corriente con el aparato conectado, puede dar lugar a un accidente. d) Retire las herramientas de ajuste o llaves fijas antes de conectar la herramienta eléctrica. Una herramienta o llave colocada en una pieza rotante puede producir lesiones al ponerse a funcionar. e) Evite trabajar con posturas forzadas. Trabaje sobre una base firme y mantenga el equilibrio en todo momento. Ello le permitirá controlar mejor la herramienta eléctrica en caso de presentarse una situación inesperada. f) Lleve puesta una vestimenta de trabajo adecuada. No utilice vestimenta amplia ni joyas. Mantenga su pelo, vestimenta y guantes alejados de las piezas móviles. La vestimenta suelta, las joyas y el pelo largo se pueden enganchar con las piezas en movimiento. g) Siempre que sea posible utilizar equipos de aspiración o captación de polvo, asegúrese que éstos estén montados y que sean utilizados correctamente. La utilización de un equipo de aspiración de polvo puede reducir los riesgos de aspirar polvo nocivo para la salud.
4) Trato y uso cuidadoso de herramientas eléctricas a) No sobrecargue el aparato. Use la herramienta prevista para el trabajo a realizar. Con la herramienta adecuada podrá trabajar mejor y más seguro dentro del margen de potencia indicado. b) No utilice herramientas con un interruptor defectuoso. Las herramientas que no se puedan conectar o desconectar son peligrosas y deben hacerse reparar. c) Saque el enchufe de la red y/o retire la batería antes de realizar un ajuste en la herramienta, cambiar de accesorio o guardar el aparato. Esta medida preventiva reduce el riesgo de conectar accidentalmente el aparato. d) Guarde las herramientas eléctricas fuera del alcance de los niños. No permita que las utilcen personas que no estén familiarizadas con ellas o que no hayan leído estas instrucciones. Las herramientas utilizadas por personas inexpertas son peligrosas.
e) Cuide sus herramientas eléctricas con esmero. Controle si funcionan correctamente, sin atascarse, las partes móviles de la herramienta y si existen partes rotas o deterioradas que pudieran afectar a su funcionamiento. Si la herramienta eléctrica estuviese defectuosa, hágala reparar antes de volver a utilizarla. Muchos de los accidentes se deben a aparatos con un mantenimiento deficiente. f) Mantenga los útiles limpios y afilados. Los útiles mantenidos correctamente se dejan guiar y controlar mejor. g) Utilice las herramientas eléctricas, los accesorios, las herramientas de inserción, etc. de acuerdo con estas instrucciones. Considere en ello las condiciones de trabajo y la tarea a realizar. El uso de herramientas eléctricas para trabajos diferentes de aquellos para los que han sido concebidas puede resultar peligroso.

1_INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIFICAS DE SEGURIDAD
Mantenga todo su cuerpo alejado de la sierra cuando esté en funcionamiento. Antes de accionar la sierra asegúrese de que la cadena no se encuentra en contacto con nada.
Mantenga las empuñaduras secas y limpias de humedad y aceite. Una empuñadura resbaladiza induce a accidentes.
Sujete la herramienta siempre con ambas manos, colocando una en la empuñadura principal controlando el gatillo mientras que la otra mano sujeta la empuñadura auxiliar. Sujetar la herramienta con una sola mano o de forma incorrecta puede provocar accidentes.
Sujete la herramienta siempre por las zonas con goma. La sierra podría cortar un cable escondido y provocar una descarga eléctrica al operario.
Desconecte inmediatamente la herramienta eléctrica si el se bloquea.
Siempre que sea posible fije la pieza a cortar con pinzas o sargentos. Sujetar la pieza con la mano o contra el cuerpo puede causar accidentes.
Mantenga siempre una postura de trabajo firme y segura. Utilizar la herramienta en posturas forzadas o incómodas puede provocar accidentes.
Realice cortes seguros apoyando la sierra sobre el punto de apoyo de la herramienta.
No intente cortar nada hasta que la máquina esté encendida y funcionando a pleno rendimiento. Si la herramienta es accionada estando en contacto con algún material, la cadena puede rebotar o atascarse causando accidentes.
Cuando haya completado un corte desactive la herramienta y no la extraiga del material hasta que se haya detenido completamente. De esta forma puede evitar rebotes y retrocesos.
Utilice únicamente cadenas y barras en perfecto estado. El uso de cadenas sin afilar o dañadas puede afectar a la calidad del corte y provocar accidentes.
No frene la sierra aplicando presión excesiva en el corte o presionando lateralmente contra el material de corte. Podría dañar la herramienta y romper la cadena causando accidentes.
Utilice protecciones para la piel, ojos y vías respiratorias.
Evite rebotes, retrocesos y atascos. Estos incidentes suceden al tocar cualquier material con la punta de la sierra en funcionamiento, o mientras se realiza un corte en madera que dicho corte se estreche por el peso de la pieza atrapando la cadena. Al someter la herramienta a este tipo de situaciones, la herramienta puede rebotar violentamente contra el material, quedarse atascada o provocar un retroceso que empuje la herramienta contra el operario.
Todas estas situaciones suponen un riesgo para el operario, por lo que se deben extremar las precauciones

y utilizar todas las medidas de seguridad recogidas en este manual de instrucciones:
- Mantenga un agarre firme, manteniendo alejados de la cadena dedos y otras partes del cuerpo. Sujetar la herramienta con firmeza le permite controlarla en caso de rebote o retroceso.
- No realice cortes en posturas incómodas, inestables, estiránose o por encima de la altura de sus hombros. Esto evita los contactos involuntarios con la punta de la herramienta.
- Utilice únicamente recambios aprobados por el fabricante.
- Mantenga la cadena bien afilada y todos los componentes bien mantenidos y cuidados.
- Antes de empezar a trabajar asegúrese de que la cadena se encuentra en buenas condiciones, correctamente tensada, lubricada y encajada en la barra, con todos los componentes bien encajados en su posición.
USO Y CUIDADO DE BATERÍAS
No intente abrir la batería. Podría provocar un cortocircuito.
Proteja la batería del calor excesivo como, p. ej., de una exposición prolongada al sol, del fuego, del agua y de la humedad. Existe el riesgo de explosión.
Si la batería se daña o usa de forma inapropiada puede que éste emane vapores. Ventile con aire fresco el recinto y acuda a un médico si nota alguna molestia. Los vapores pueden llegar a irritar las vías respiratorias.
Únicamente utilice la batería en combinación con su herramienta eléctrica. Solamente así queda protegida la batería contra una sobrecarga peligrosa.
Solamente utilice baterías originales STAYER de la tensión indicada en la placa de características de su herramienta eléctrica. Si se utilizan baterías diferentes, como, p. ej., imitaciones, baterías recuperadas, o de otra marca, existe el riesgo de que éstos exploten y causen daños personales o materiales.
En caso de una desconexión automática de la herramienta eléctrica no mantenga accionado el interruptor de conexión desconexión. La batería podría dañarse.
La batería viene equipado con un sensor de temperatura que solamente adm te su recarga dentro del margen de temperatura entre 0 °C y 45 °C. De esta manera se alcanza una larga vida útil de la batería.
Observe las indicaciones referentes a la eliminación.
Únicamente use los cargadores que se detallan en la página con los accesorios. Solamente estos cargadores han sido especialmente adaptadas a las baterías de iones de litio empleados en su herramienta eléctrica.
La batería se suministra parcialmente cargada. Con el fin de obtener la plena potencia, antes de su primer uso, cárguela completamente en el cargador.
La batería de iones de litio puede recargarse siempre que se quiera, sin que ello merme su vida útil. Una interrupción del proceso de carga no afecta a la batería.
La batería de iones de litio va protegida contra altas descargas. Si la batería está descargado, un circuito de protección se encarga de desconectar la herramienta eléctrica. El útil deja de moverse.
Protección contra sobrecarga térmica

La herramienta eléctrica no puede sobrecargarse si ésta se utiliza de forma reglamentaria. En caso de una solicitación excesiva, o al salirse del margen de temperatura admisible de la batería de 050 °C, se reducen las revoluciones. La herramienta eléctrica solamente funciona de nuevo a plenas revoluciones una vez que la batería haya alcanzado la temperatura admisible
2_INSTRUCCIONES DE PUESTA EN SERVICIO
COLOCACIÓN
Lea íntegramente las advertencias de peligro e instrucciones. En caso de no atenerse a las advertencias de peligro e instrucciones siguientes, ello puede ocasionar una descarga eléctrica, un incendio y/o lesión grave.
UTILIZACIÓN REGLAMENTARIA
La herramienta ha sido diseñada para cortar ramas, arbustos y pequeños árboles en los sectores de la agricultura, horticultura y jardinería.
DESCRIPCIÓN ILUSTRADA

INFORMACIÓN SOBRE RUIDOS Y VIBRACIONES
Fije unas medidas de seguridad adicionales para proteger al usuario de los efectos por vibraciones como por ejemplo: Mantenimiento de la herramienta eléctrica y de los útiles, conservar calientes las manos organización de las secuencias de trabajo.
MONTAJE
Antes de cualquier manipulación en la herramienta eléctrica (p.ej. en su mantenimiento, cambio de útil, etc.), así como al transportarla o guardarla, desconecte la batería.
Montaje de la batería Solamente utilice baterías de iones de litio originales Stayer de la tensión indicada en la placa de características de su herramienta eléctrica. El uso de otro tipo de baterías puede provocar daños e incluso un incendio.

Carga de la batería
Únicamente use los cargadores que se detallan en la página con los accesorios. Solamente estos cargadores han sido especialmente adaptados a las baterías de iones de litio empleadas en su herramienta eléctrica.
Observación: La batería se suministra parcialmente cargada. Con el fin de obtener la plena potencia de la batería, antes de su primer uso, cárguela completamente en el cargador.
La batería de iones de litio puede recargarse siempre que se quiera, sin que ello merme su vida útil. Una interrupción del proceso de carga no afecta a la batería. En caso de una desconexión automática de la herramienta eléctrica no mantenga accionado el interruptor de conexión/desconexión. La batería podría dañarse.
Para desmontar la batería presione el botón de extracción y saque el batería hacia atrás de la herramienta eléctrica. No proceda con brusquedad.
Durante la carga del batería no es posible conectar la herramienta eléctrica.
La batería viene equipada con un sensor de temperatura NTC que solamente admite su recarga dentro del margen de temperatura entre 0ºC y 45ºC. De esta manera se alcanza un larga vida útil de la batería.
Observe las indicaciones referentes a la eliminación. Instalación de la batería
La batería (9) ha de insertarse en la parte posterior de la herramienta deslizándola suavemente por el rail de conexión hasta que encaje por completo haciendo un suave click.
Para retirar la batería, pulse el botón de la batería y tirando de la misma suavemente.
Cambio de la barra / cadena (2 - 3) - Figs. A-H
Siga la secuencia de imágenes de la página 5 para poder desmontar la barra y la cadena, e instalarlas nuevamente.
1- Con la herramienta desconectada y la batería desmontada, actúe sobre la palanca de la cadena (5) (Figura A)
2- Gire la palanca (5) en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta desenroscarla por completo, retirando la palanca y la cubierta (Figura B).
3- Retire la barra y la cadena (2-3) con cuidado de no herirse (Figura C).
4- Para instalar la cadena (3) asegúrese de que la dirección de los dientes sea la correcta antes de colocarla en la barra (2) (Figura D)
5- Coloque la barra con la cadena (2-3) en la tuerca dentada, asegurándose de que la cadena encaje en la tuerca y verificando que puede moverse con normalidad. (Figura E)
6- Coloque de nuevo la cubierta en su posición original con cuidado de que las sujecciones de la misma encajen con la carcasa de la herramienta (Figura F)
7- Enrosque de nuevo la palanca girando en sentido de las agujas del reloj (Figura G). Verifique que la tensión de la cadena (3) es la adecuada.
8- Coloque de nuevo el botón de la palanca (5) en su posición original para fijar la tensión y posición de la cadena (3) (Figura H)

Tensionado de la cadena (3) La cadena debe mantenerse en una tensión media, si la tensión es baja la cadena puede salirse mientras realiza un corte causando accidentes. Una cadena muy tensa se desgasta rápidamente y corre el riesgo de partirse ocasionando accidentes. 1- Afloje levemente la palanca de la cadena (5) siguiendo los puntos 1 y 2 del apartado Cambio de la cadena / barra (Figuras A y B)
2- Actue sobre el tornillo de tensionado (10) con un destornillador. Girar el tornillo en sentido de las agujas del reloj tensa la cadena, mientras que en sentido contrario la afloja. 3- Verifique que la tensión es adecuada, esto puede verificarse tirando suavemente de la cadena a lo largo de uno de los lados de la barra. Si la cadena se separa 3-4mm de la barra dejando ver la cara interna de los eslabones la tensión es correcta. 4- Apriete nuevamente la palanca de la cadena (5) y fíjela como se indica en el apartado Cambio de la cadena / barra en los puntos 7 y 8 (Figuras G y H)
Lubricación de la cadena (3)
Se aconseja lubricar la cadena antes de cada uso.
1- Desmonte la cubierta de la barra (1) siguiendo los puntos 1 y 2 del apartado Cambio de la cadena / barra (Figuras A y B).
2- Sin desmontar la barra ni la cadena, aplique cuidadosamente el lubricante o aceite con un dosificador sobre la cadena (3) y el engranaje de la cadena. Utilice únicamente aceites biodegradables específicos para cadenas de motosierra. Aplique el aceite con precaución para no sobrecargar la cadena y la barra.
3- Coloque nuevamente la cubierta y apriete nuevamente la palanca de la cadena (5) y fíjela como se indica en el apartado Cambio de la cadena / barra en los puntos 6, 7 y 8 (Figuras F, G y H)
3_OPERACIÓN
CONEXIÓN/DESCONEXIÓN
Inserte la batería tras asegurarse de que esta dispone de suficiente carga siguiendo los pasos descritos en el punto 2 de este manual. Pulse el botón de bloqueo de seguridad (7) y a continuación pulse el gatillo (6) para activar la herramienta.
Para detener la herramienta deje de presionar el gatillo (6)
Comprobación del freno automático
Antes de realizar cualquier corte, active la herramienta en vacío y libere el gatillo (6) para que la máquina se detenga. La cadena debe frenarse 1 segundo después de soltar el gatillo, de no ser así consulte con el servicio técnico y no utilice la herramienta.
OPERACIÓN
ADVERTENCIAS
- Nunca utilice la herramienta con la funda de la sierra acoplada
- Nunca retire el protector (1) o lo manipule mientras

trabaja.
- Nunca active la herramienta si la cadena está en contacto o apoyada en cualquier material.
- Tenga cuidado al cortar ramas, ya que la presión generada por el peso de la rama cortada puede provocar que pierda el control de la herramienta
- Tenga cuidado al cortar arbustos y tallos grandes, al ser flexibles podrían enredarse en la cadena y salir proyectados.
Corte
Tras haber activado la herramienta como se describe en el apartado de CONEXIÓN/DESCONEXIÓN, permita que ésta alcance su velocidad máxima antes de empezar a cortar cualquier material.
Apoye la herramienta sobre la zona de corte utilizando el punto de apoyo (4) que se encuentra bajo la cadena y la barra. Una vez apoyada la herramienta proceda a realizar el corte aplicando una leve presión en la dirección de corte.
Al realizar un corte, la herramienta tirará hacia delante en el material que esté cortando. Para evitar posibles atascos contrarreste esta fuerza tirando levemente de la herramienta hacia atrás a medida que va realizando el corte.
4_MANTENIMIENTO Y SERVICIO
MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
Antes de cualquier manipulación en la herramienta eléctrica (p.ej. en su mantenimiento, cambio de útil, etc.), así como al transportarla o guardarl a, colocar en posición central el selector de sentido de giro.
Vd. podría accidentarse en caso de un accionamiento fortuito del interruptor de conexión/ desconexión. Limpieza
Tras terminar cualquier tarea limpie la herramienta para evitar que virutas y serrín se acumulen en las partes internas de la herramienta, acortando su vida útil.
1- Desmonte la cubierta de la barra (1) siguiendo los puntos 1 y 2 del apartado Cambio de la cadena / barra (Figuras A y B)
2- Proceda a limpiar con un cepillo suave la cubierta de la barra, las ranuras de la barra (2) y el engranaje de la cadena. Elimine cualquier resto de serrín o virutas de madera.
3- Coloque nuevamente la cubierta y apriete nuevamente la palanca de la cadena (5) y fíjela como se indica en el apartado Cambio de la cadena / barra en los puntos 6, 7 y 8 (Figuras F, G y H).
Cambio de la tuerca de la cadena
Si observa que la tuerca de la cadena está desgastada por el uso deberá reemplazarla.
Para reemplazarla deberá retirar primero la arandela de sujección. Ambas piezas deben ser reemplazadas simultáneamente. Tras retirar la arandela de sujección y el engranaje antiguos instale primero el nuevo engranaje y a continuación la nueva arandela de sujección. Batería
Si la batería fuese inservible diríjase a un servicio técnico autorizado para herramientas eléctricas Stayer.
Si a pesar de los esmerados procesos de fabricación

TRANSPORTE

General Power Tool Safety Warnings
1) Work area safety a) Keep work area clean and well lit. 3) Personal safety a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. 1_MACHINE SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS
Keep your whole body away from the saw when it is in operation. Before operating the saw make sure that the chain is not in contact with anything.
Keep the handles dry and free of moisture and oil. A slippery handle can lead to accidents.
Always hold the tool with both hands, placing one hand on the main handle controlling the trigger while the other hand holds the auxiliary handle. Holding the tool with only one hand or incorrectly can lead to accidents.
Always hold the tool by the rubber areas. The saw could cut a hidden cable and cause an electric shock to the operator.
Switch off the power tool immediately if it becomes jammed.
Whenever possible clamp the workpiece with clamps or clamp clamps. Holding the workpiece by hand or against the body can cause accidents.
Always maintain a firm and safe working posture. Using the tool in awkward positions can cause accidents.
Make safe cuts by resting the saw on the tool's support point.
Do not attempt to cut anything until the machine is switched on and running at full power. If the tool is operated while in contact with any material, the chain may bounce or jam causing accidents.
When you have completed a cut, turn the tool off and do not remove it from the material until it has come to a complete stop. This way you can avoid bouncing and kickback.
Only use chains and bars that are in perfect condition. The use of dull or damaged chains can affect the quality of the cut and cause accidents.
Do not brake the saw by applying excessive pressure to the cut or by pressing sideways against the cutting material. This could damage the tool and break the chain causing accidents.
Use skin, eye and respiratory protection.
Avoid kickback, kickback and jamming. These incidents occur when touching any material with the tip of the saw in operation, or while making a cut in wood where the cut is constricted by the weight of the workpiece trapping the chain. When the tool is subjected to this type of situation, the tool can bounce violently against the material, become jammed or cause a kickback that pushes the tool against the operator.
All of these situations pose a risk to the operator, so extreme caution must be exercised and all safety precautions in this instruction manual must be followed:
- Maintain a firm grip, keeping fingers and other body parts away from the chain. Holding the tool firmly allows you to control it in the event of kickback or recoil.

- Do not cut in awkward, unstable, stretched or overshouldered positions to avoid unintentional contact with the tool tip.
- Use only manufacturer's approved replacement parts.
- Keep the chain sharp and all components well maintained and cared for.
- Before starting work ensure that the chain is in good condition, correctly tensioned, lubricated and fitted to the bar, with all components securely locked into position.
BATTERIES USE AND CARE
Do not open the battery. Danger of shortcircuiting.
Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Danger of explosion.
In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapours may be emitted. Provide for fresh air and seek medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irritate the respiratory system.
Use the battery only in conjunction with your STAYER power tool. This measure alone protects the battery against dangerous overload.
Use only original STAYER batteries with the voltage listed on the nameplate of your power tool. When using other batteries, e. g. imitations, reconditioned batteries or other brands, there is danger of injury as well as property damage through exploding batteries.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the machine has been automatically switched off. The battery can be damaged.
The battery is equipped with a temperature control which allows charging only within a temperature range of between 0 °C and 45 °C. A long battery service life is achieved in this manner.
Observe the notes for disposal.
Use only the battery chargers listed on the accessories page. Only these battery chargers are matched to the lithium ion battery of your power tool.
The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the battery charger before using your power tool for the first time. The lithiumion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure does not damage the battery.
The lithiumion battery is protected against deep
discharging. When the battery is empty, the machine is
switched off by means of a protective circuit: The inserted tool no longer rotates.
Temperature Dependent Overload Protection
When using as intended for, the power tool cannot be subject to overload. When the load is too high or the allowable battery temperature range of 050 °C is exceeded, the speed is reduced. The power tool will not run at full speed until reaching the allowable battery temperature. position. Unintentional actuation of the On/ Off switch can lead to injuries. Open the keyless chuck 2 by turning in rotation direction , until the tool can be inserted. Insert the tool. Firmly tighten the collar of the keyless chuck 2 by hand in rotation

2_FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

INTENDED USE
The tool is designed for cutting branches, bushes and small trees in agriculture, horticulture and gardening.

ASSEMBLY
Battery charging Use only the battery chargers listed on the accessories page. Only these battery chargers are matched to the lithium ion battery of your power tool. Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the battery charger before using your power tool for the first time. The lithium ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure does not damage the battery. Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the machine has been automatically switched off. The battery can be damaged. To remove the battery 5, press the battery unlocking button 9 and pull the battery out of the power tool toward the rear. Do not exert any force. Observe the notes for disposal. Installing the battery The battery (9) should be inserted into the back of the tool by sliding it gently along the connection rail until it clicks into place. To remove the battery, press the battery button and gently pull the battery out.

Changing the bar / chain (2 - 3) - Figs. A-H
Follow the sequence of pictures on page 5 to remove the bar and chain and reinstall them.
1- With the tool disconnected and the battery removed, operate the chain lever (5) (Fig. A).
2- Turn the lever (5) anticlockwise until it is completely unscrewed, removing the lever and the cover (Figure B).
3- Remove the bar and chain (2-3) taking care not to injure yourself (Figure C).
4- To install the chain (3) make sure that the direction of the teeth is correct before placing it on the bar (2) (Figure D).
5- Place the bar with the chain (2-3) on the toothed nut, making sure that the chain fits on the nut and verifying that it can move normally. (Figure E)
6- Put the cover back in its original position, taking care that the fastenings of the cover fit the tool housing (Figure F).
7- Screw the lever back on by turning it clockwise (Figure G). Check that the chain tension (3) is correct.
8- Return the knob of the lever (5) to its original position to set the tension and position of the chain (3) (Figure H).
Tensioning the chain (3)
The chain should be kept at a medium tension, if the tension is low the chain may come off while cutting causing accidents. A chain that is too tight wears out quickly and risks breaking, causing accidents.
1- Slightly loosen the chain lever (5) by following points 1 and 2 in the section Changing the chain / bar (Figures A and B).
2- Act on the tensioning screw (10) with a screwdriver. Turning the screw clockwise tightens the chain, while turning it anticlockwise loosens it.
3- Check that the tension is adequate, this can be checked by gently pulling the chain along one side of the bar. If the chain separates 3-4mm from the bar, revealing the inner side of the links, the tension is correct.
4- Re-tighten the chain lever (5) and fix it as indicated in the section Changing the chain / bar in points 7 and 8 (Figures G and H).
Chain lubrication (3)
It is advisable to lubricate the chain before each use.
1- Remove the bar cover (1) following points 1 and 2 of the section Changing the chain/bar (Figures A and B).
2- Without removing the bar and the chain, carefully apply the lubricant or oil with a dispenser on the chain (3) and the chain gear.
Use only biodegradable oils specific for chainsaw chains. Apply the oil carefully so as not to overload the chain and the bar.
3- Replace the cover and retighten the chain lever (5) and secure it as indicated in the section Changing the chain / bar in points 6, 7 and 8 (Figures F, G and H).

3_USE
Insert the battery after ensuring that it has sufficient charge by following the steps described in point 2 of this manual. Press the safety lock button (7) and then press the trigger (6) to activate the tool. To stop the tool, release the trigger (6). Checking the automatic brake Before making any cuts, idle the tool and release the trigger (6) to stop the machine. The chain should stop 1 second after releasing the trigger, if this is not the case, consult the technical service and do not use the tool.
WARNINGS - Never use the tool with the saw guard attached. - Never remove the guard (1) or handle it while working. - Never activate the tool if the chain is in contact with or resting on any material. - Be careful when cutting branches, as the pressure generated by the weight of the cut branch may cause you to lose control of the tool. - Be careful when cutting large shrubs and stems, as they are flexible and could become entangled in the chain and be thrown out. Cutting After activating the tool as described in the ON/OFF section, allow the tool to reach its maximum speed before starting to cut any material. Support the tool on the cutting area using the support point (4) under the chain and bar. Once the tool is supported, proceed with the cut by applying light pressure in the direction of the cut. When making a cut, the tool will pull forward on the material being cut. To avoid possible jamming, counteract this force by pulling the tool slightly backwards as you make the cut. .
4_MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before any work on the machine (e. g., maintenance, tool change, etc.) as well as during transport and storage, set the rotational direction switch to the centre position.Unintentional actuation of the On/Off switch can lead to injuries. For safe and proper working, always keep the machine and ventilation slots clean. Cleaning After finishing any work, clean the tool to prevent shavings and sawdust from accumulating on the internal parts of the tool, shortening its service life. 1- Remove the bar cover (1) following points 1 and 2 in the section Changing the chain / bar (Figures A and B). 2- Clean the bar cover, the bar grooves (2) and the chain sprocket with a soft brush. Remove any sawdust or wood shavings. 3- Replace the cover and retighten the chain lever (5) and secure it as indicated in the section Changing the chain / bar in points 6, 7 and 8 (Figures F, G and H).

Changing the chain nut If you notice that the chain nut is worn from use, it must be replaced. To replace the chain nut, the retaining washer must first be removed. Both parts must be replaced at the same time. After removing the old retaining washer and gear, first install the new gear and then the new retaining washer. Battery
When the battery is no longer operative, please refer to an authorised aftersales service agent for Stayer power tools. If the machine should fail despite the care taken in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be carried out by an aftersales service centre for Stayer power tools.
TRANSPORT
he contained lithiumion batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements. The user can transport the batteries by road without further requirements. When being transported by third parties (e.g.: air transport or forwarding agency), special requirements on packaging and labelling must be observed. For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting an expert for hazardous material is required. Dispatch batteries only when the housing is undamaged. Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the battery in such a manner that it cannot move around in the packaging. Please also observe possibly more detailed national regulations.
DISPOSAL
The machine, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries: Do not dispose of power tools into house-hold waste! According the European Guideline 2012/19/EU for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its implementation into national right, power tools that a re no longer usa-ble must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.
Battery packs/batteries: Li-Ion: Please observe the instructions in section "Transport". Do not dispose of battery packs/batteries into household waste, fire or water. Battery packs/ batteries should be collected, recycled or disposed of in an environmental-friendly manner. WARRANTY GENERAL CONDITIONS

In the STAYER IBERICA GROUP S.A. (from now on "STAYER"), strict control processes are conducted to comply with the security and quality required.
To understand the application area of this text, we differentiate the following users:
- Users or consumers, as private individuals whose acts are not related to their main comercial, business activity or their main profession or trade. Legal persons and entities without legal personality which act with non-profit means in an unrelated comercial or corporate enviroment.
- Professionals, whom obtain comercial, business or working profits by using any STAYER product.
STAYER offers a guarantee for all of its power tools, garden tools and welding tools, subject to the following conditions:
1- STAYER offers a 36 month guarantee against manufacturing defects or consistency issues, bearing in mind that any issue must be easily visible or provable, as the product will be tested at our labs to verify said issues. If the product has been subjected to industrial or professional use, said guarantee will cover exclusively 12 months since the first buyer aquired the product.

3- In order to claim the guarantee rights, the tool owner must first fill the repair order either digitally or physically, and process it with the tool's vendor or the Authorized Technical Support Services before shipping the tool. A copy of the purchase receipt or invoice must be attached to the form where the purchase date can clearly be seen. Shipping costs are not included if the product is delivered to the vendor or the Technical Support Services without processing the repair form first.
4- If the Authorized Technical Support or STAYER is unable to locate the defect or issue, STAYER will not assume the shipping costs, nor the costs derived from testing the tool to locate the issue.
5- Guarantee transfer is completely forbidden, the guarantee does not cover second-hand products.
6- During the guarantee application due to manufacturing defects or consistency issues, the product will remain under STAYER's custody in its facilities or its Authorized Technical Support Services. During this period of time the tool's owner is not entitled to receive a substitution tool in place of the product that is being repaired.

2- The following cases are exempt from the guarantee:
a. Any kind of defect or malfunctioning caused by not applying the safety and maintenance instructions given in the User's guide.
b. Any damage caused by using other brand's accessories, incompatible accessories with the tool model or faulty accessories.
c. Any manipulation, modification or repair conducted by staff unrelated to STAYER or its associated Technical Support Services.
d. Products with minimal deviations from the features that do not impact on the tool's optimal performance and its value.
e. Products which have been connected to a different voltage tenssion grid than the one stated on the tool's features, causing an electrical failure.
f. Products or components which have suffered wear due to the normal use of the tool, being said components consumables, accessories or components subject to wear that must be replaced by the owner.
g. Products that show any kind of misuse or application which deviates from its original intended uses, listed in the Users guide.
h. Products that show lack of correct maintenance from the owner. The owner is responsible for the tool's maintenance in order to preserve its service life.
i. Accessories and tool consumables, as their intended use has a limited service life that includes wear.

7- In order to correct the manufacturing defects or consistency issues contemplated in the guarantee terms, STAYER will only repair or substitute all the necessary components free of charge in order for the tool to perform according to the quality and safety standards. STAYER withholds the right to substitute the product for a similar one in cases where reparations would not be possible.

2- Los siguientes casos no están contemplados en la garantía:
a. Defecto en el producto, derivados de la no aplicación de las medidas de seguridad y de mantenimiento del producto, indicadas en su manual de instrucciones.
b. Que la herramienta haya sido dañada, debido a que se han utilizado accesorios, consumibles o repuestos de otras marcas, no compatibles con el modelo original de STAYER o defectuosos que provoquen daños en el equipo o herramienta.
c. Que la máquina o producto haya sido manipulada, modificada o reparada por personal ajeno al Grupo STAYER o a sus Servicios de Asistencia Técnica Autorizados.
d. Variaciones mínimas de las características del producto, que no influyan en su correcto funcionamiento y en el valor del producto.
e. Productos que hayan sido conectados con una tensión o voltaje diferente a la indicada en las características del equipo, provocando un fallo eléctrico.
f. Cualquier producto que haya sufrido algún desgaste en alguna de sus piezas, por el uso normal de la herramienta, siendo esta pieza un consumible,

accesorios o elemento sujeto al desgaste que debería de cambiarse por su propio uso por parte del usuario.
g. Cualquier producto que presente una falla, debida a un manejo inadecuado de la herramienta, incompatible con los usos o aplicaciones indicadas en el manual de la herramienta.
h. Productos que presenten una falla debida a que el propietario no ha cumplido con el mantenimiento correcto de la herramienta. El comprador es el encargado de realizar los mantenimientos del producto que compra, para respetar su vida útil.
i. Los accesorios y consumibles de las herramientas, debido a que tienen una vida limitada y se desgastan en condiciones normales por su uso.
3- Para que se aplique el proceso de reclamación de la garantía, antes que nada se deberá rellenar el formulario de reparación en formato físico o digital, y tramitarlo directamente con el vendedor del producto o con los Servicios de Asistencia Técnica Autorizados correspondientes. Se deberá adjuntar una copia del justificante de compra, donde se vea claramente la fecha en la que se produjo la compra. Los gastos de envío no estarán cubiertos en el caso de que se envíe la herramienta al vendedor o al servicio técnico sin haberlo tramitado con anterioridad.
4- En el caso de que los Servicios de Asistencia Técnica Autorizados de STAYER, no detecten una falta de conformidad o un fallo de fabricación, STAYER no se hará cargo de los gastos de envío, ni de comprobación de dicha anomalía.
5- Queda prohibido la cesión de la actual garantía, no se aplicará en equipos de segunda mano.
6- Durante la aplicación de la garantía por faltas de conformidad o fallos de fabricación, el equipo a reparar quedará bajo custodia en las instalaciones STAYER o los Servicios de Asistencia Técnica Autorizados, sin derecho por parte del consumidor de obtener un equipo de sustitución durante el periodo de reparación.
7- Para proceder a eliminar las faltas de conformidad o fallos de fabricación incluidos en las condiciones de la garantía, STAYER se limitará a reparar o sustituir todas las piezas necesarias de forma gratuita para que la herramienta o equipo funcione correctamente acorde a los parámetros de calidad y seguridad. STAYER se reserva el derecho de poder sustituir el equipo por uno similar en casos donde no sea posible la reparación del equipo.
