EMEET SmartCam Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your EMEET SmartCam.
How to Install the Webcam
Follow these steps to install your webcam:
Diagram: Shows how to attach the webcam to a monitor or tripod.
Diagram: Shows the webcam connected to a laptop via USB.
How to Use the Webcam
When the webcam is used with video calling software like Zoom or Skype, the LED indicator will light up to show it's working.
If the indicator is not on, select EMEET camera in the software's settings under [Settings] - [Video] - [Cameras].
How to Use the Microphone
Select EMEET microphone in the software's settings under [Settings] - [Audio] - [Microphones].
How to Use EMEETLINK
1. To use EMEETLINK, download it from www.emeet.com/EMEETLINK.
Diagrams: Show download options for Windows and macOS.
2. To fix image flickers, click the [Device] page. You can switch between 50Hz and 60Hz to resolve image flickering issues.
Warranty and Safety Information
Limited Warranty
EMEET offers a Two(2) Year Limited Warranty with proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accidents or misuse. Keep your proof of purchase for service.
Safety Guide
Caution:
- Do not open the product housing to avoid electrical shock.
- Do not use internal parts of the product. Contact qualified personnel for repairs.
- Read and follow all instructions and warnings.
- Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Choking hazard: Contains small parts, not suitable for children under 3.
- Do not place near heat sources.
- Do not use while driving or needing to be alert to your surroundings.
- Do not submerge in water or expose to damp environments. Do not use during water sports.
- Protect the USB cable; do not step on or pull it.
- Use accessories specified by the vendor.
- Unplug the device when not in use.
- Contact professional maintenance personnel for repairs if the product is damaged.

This equipment complies with Directive 2014/30/EU/EMCR 2016. Suitable temperature: 0~40°C. Connect only to a USB Interface of version 2.0 or higher.

EMEET products are covered by a two-year warranty in accordance with Chinese consumer protection laws. This includes return, exchange, and repair services.
Warranty Service Content:
- Return: Within 7 days of receipt.
- Exchange: Within 8-15 days of receipt.
- Repair: Within 16 days to 2 years of receipt.
Exclusions from Warranty:
- Exceeding warranty period.
- Damage due to improper use, maintenance, or storage.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repair attempts.
- Lack of warranty certificate or valid invoice.
- Discrepancies or alterations on the warranty certificate.
- Damage due to force majeure.
- Products not sold in mainland China.
Product Hazardous Substances Information
Table: Lists components and the presence of hazardous substances like Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr(VI)), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE). 'O' indicates compliance with limits, 'X' indicates exceeding limits.
