Assembly Instructions
Diagrams show the towbar assembly with parts labeled A, B, C, etc., and connection points. Icons for waste separation (Paper, Steel, Plastic) are also shown.
General Preparation
- Check the vehicle's type plate to identify the correct illustration for this fitting instruction.
- Remove any insulating material (e.g., bitumen, anti-vibration) from the contact areas of the fitting points.
- Remove plastic caps from spot welding nuts, if present.
Step-by-Step Installation
- Fit side brackets A, left and right side, at points B. Hand-tighten only.
- Position support C and attach it at points D and E. Fit the whole assembly loosely.
- Position support F and attach it at points G and H. Fit the whole assembly loosely.
- Fit the cross beam I between supports C and F at points J. Fit the whole assembly loosely.
- Fit the socket plate K at points L. Fit the whole assembly loosely.
- Fit the two-hole flange ball M & N at points O.
- Tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torque values (refer to Torque Specifications section).
- Ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened according to the diagram.
