Using a flathead screwdriver, pry open triangle slots near the test button to remove backplate. c. Set housing aside. a. Thread fixture wires through backplate and connect to building wires. 120V: -Black to Black (Live) -White to White (Neutral) 277V: -Red to Black (Live) -White to White (Neutral) b. Connect battery to PCB board by plugging connector into socket. 3 Installation Guide (Cont.) STEP 3 STEP 4 (A) a. Drill into desired mounting pattern indicators from the backplate. b. Install mounting screws (A) into drilled mounting hole indicators to install fixture into wall. c. For wall-mounting with conduit, attach backplate to wall. Thread fixture wires through conduit, then connect conduit. a. Attach housing into place starting with the backplate's bottom side, then the top side (test button side). b. Attach housing. Ensure that backplate is properly connected and sealed. c. Turn on power. Press the test button to test light.
