- If connecting to a secured wireless network, enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Product Use Recommendations:
- Connect routers, switches, and other network devices only to outlets with the correct voltage and current as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Avoid placing devices in confined spaces without adequate ventilation, as overheating can lead to failure.
- Always use appropriate network cables (e.g., RJ45 compliant with CAT5E, CAT6). Low-quality cables can affect connection stability.
- Protect devices from moisture and water. If liquid contact occurs, immediately disconnect the device from power and contact the manufacturer's service.
- Avoid overloading connected accessories (e.g., RJ45 plugs, USB adapters) by using compliant devices and cables.
- Protect delicate components like plug covers or keystone jacks from mechanical damage, as breakage can cause connectivity issues.
- When handling cables and network connectors, avoid pulling them at an angle; always disconnect them in a straight line to prevent damage to pins or connector distortion.
- Do not use excessive thermal paste; applying it according to the manufacturer's recommendations minimizes the risk of short circuits and component overheating.
Network Security Risks:
- Secure Wi-Fi access using a strong password and encryption (WPA2/WPA3). Lack of adequate security can lead to unauthorized network access.
- Regularly update router and switch software to protect the network from external threats.
Compatibility Risks:
- Before purchasing, ensure accessories are compatible with your hardware (e.g., plug type, network standard, dimensions).
- For USB hubs or Wi-Fi devices, always check their maximum bandwidth to avoid performance degradation.
Child Safety:
- Small parts, such as modular RJ45 plugs or plug covers, can pose a choking hazard to children. Store accessories out of reach of children.
- Thermal paste and other chemical materials should be stored out of reach of children and are not intended for unsupervised use.
Environmental Protection:
- Dispose of electronic waste, including routers, switches, and network accessories, at designated collection points in accordance with local waste management regulations. Proper disposal helps protect the environment and human health.
Maintenance and Storage:
- Regularly clean devices like routers and switches with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust from vents and ports.
- Store chemical components, such as thermal paste, in a dry, cool place in their original packaging.
- Store cables and network connectors in dedicated organizers to prevent tangling and connector damage.
User Customization:
- Choose accessories appropriate for your needs, such as switches with the correct number of ports, CAT5E/CAT6 modular plugs, or compatible plug covers.
- If using accessories in an office environment, select products with increased durability, such as reinforced keystone jacks.
