Snooker Modular Icemaker
Product Model Number: SK-1000P
Ice Shape: Full cube (7/8"x7/8"x7/8")
Refrigerant: R404A
Electrical Requirements
A 220 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only electrical supply is required. Ensure the supply is properly grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances. Use a separate circuit dedicated solely to the ice maker.
Water Requirements
A cold water supply with water pressure between 0.13 Mpa [19 PSI] and 0.55 Mpa [80 PSI] is necessary for operation. Consult a licensed, qualified plumber if you have questions about your water pressure.
Location Requirements
Ensure the front side of the ice maker is completely unobstructed for proper ventilation. The unit may be enclosed on the top and two sides, provided adequate spacing is left for ventilation. The installation should allow the ice maker to be pulled forward for servicing.
- Water supply inlet requires 3/8" (6.35 mm) OD soft copper tubing with a shutoff valve or drain pump to carry water to an existing drain.
- Choose a well-ventilated area with ambient temperatures above 55°F (13°C) and below 110°F (43°C). Optimal performance is achieved between 70°F and 90°F (21°C and 32°C).

Installation Checks
- Verify the power supply cord is not damaged, pinched, or kinked.
- Check that the water supply line is not damaged, pinched, or kinked.
- Ensure the drain line is not damaged, pinched, or kinked.
- Choose a level location for the ice maker. Adjust leveling legs if necessary to ensure the unit is properly leveled for optimal performance.
Drain Connection
Gravity Drain System
Connect the ice maker drain to your plumbing system in accordance with all applicable state and local codes and ordinances. For gravity drain systems, follow these guidelines to prevent water backflow into the storage bin and potential water damage:
- Drain lines must have a minimum inside diameter of 5/8" (15.88 mm).
- Drain lines require a 1" drop per 48" (2.54 cm drop per 122 cm) of run or a 1/4" drop per 12" (6.35 mm per 30.48 cm) of run. Ensure there are no low points where water can collect.
- Floor drains must be sufficiently sized to accommodate drainage from all connected units.
- An ideal installation includes a standpipe with a 11/2" (3.81 cm) to 2" (5.08 cm) PVC drain reducer installed directly below the drain tube outlet. Maintain a 1" (2.54 cm) air gap between the drain hose and the standpipe.
Important Notes for Drain Pump Use
A drain pump is necessary if a floor drain is unavailable. Ensure compliance with Plumbing Code and any local codes and ordinances.
- The drain pump discharge line must terminate at an open-vented drain.
- Maximum rise for the discharge line is 10 ft (3.1 m).
- Maximum run for the discharge line is 100 ft (30.5 m).
Additional Notes
- If the drain hose becomes twisted, preventing proper drainage, the ice maker will not function.
- Consider insulating the drain line thoroughly up to the drain inlet to prevent condensation.
