Terminal cover for NZM2 Molded Case Circuit Breakers and Switches

Models: -NA, -CNA (UL/CSA models)

Barrier Removal Instructions

The barrier, shown shaded in the diagrams, is held tightly into grooves on the top and bottom sides of the breaker or switch. It must be removed to mount the NZM2(-4)-XKSA terminal cover.

To remove the barrier:

  1. From the back of the device, use thumb pressure to push the barrier.
  2. Alternatively, use an appropriate tool to gently tap each side of the barrier to help slide it out.

Caution! The removal or exchange of parts during mounting may become necessary. Refer to installation instructions for proper assembly and to maintain electrical clearances.

Installation Diagrams and Torque Specifications

Step 1: Connector Type NZM2-XKA Compression Crimp lugs. Use the terminal cover Type NZM2-XKSA in all cases when making connections with lug types pictured.

Torque Specification: 4 x M4 x 85/20. Torque: Z 2, 1.3 Nm (11.5 lb-in).

Step 2: Mounting the terminal cover. Torque: Z 2, 1 Nm (9 lb-in).

Minimum clearance space for all models: 35 mm (1.4 inches).
