Truma Heating Control

The firmware for Campers based on the Fiat Ducato platform that use TRUMA heaters enables control of Truma heaters with the most common setup: "+22°C, Gas, Eco mode, Boiler OFF."

Connections are made behind the CP panel into the TIN bus as shown in the diagram. It is recommended to use the T-harness cable ST-TRUMA-IN (optional). The twisted pair Gray/White wires should be connected with the same color StarLine LIN AB wires. From the "StarLine 2" app, the Heater command will switch the Truma heater with the preprogrammed set of options ON and OFF. This function is useful for automatic monitoring of water temperature in tanks and switching heating to avoid water freezing. Based on wireless sensors MS-06BTv2 and Flexible Logic programs, temperature monitoring can be customized for different scenarios.
