How to Set Your Jabra Device as the Default Audio Device on macOS

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to manually set your Jabra device as the default audio input and output device on your macOS computer.

Steps:

  1. Click the Apple icon  in the top-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select System Preferences from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the Sound icon.
  4. In the Sound preferences window, navigate to the Output tab. Select your Jabra device from the list of available audio output devices. If you are using a Jabra device with a connected Link adapter, select the Link adapter.
  5. Next, go to the Input tab. Select your Jabra device from the list of available audio input devices. Similar to the output setting, if you are using a Jabra device with a connected Link adapter, select the Link adapter.

By following these steps, your Jabra device will be recognized as the primary audio device for both input and output on your macOS system.
