Assembly Instructions
Package Contents (Per Planter)
- 1 x Outer Shell
- 1 x Inner Planting Liner (with raised drainage platform and conical diverter)
- 1 x Drainage Saucer / Catch Tray
Tools Required
None. Assembly is tool-free.
Assembly Steps
Unpack and Inspect
Carefully remove all components from the box. Check that the outer shell, liner, and tray are intact. Keep the packaging for potential returns or warranty service.
Position the Outer Shell
Place the outer shell on a level and stable surface (indoor flooring, patio tiles, or deck). Ensure the ground is even to avoid tilting.
Prepare the Water Tray
Position the tray either inside the planter base or directly beneath it (as shown in product images) to collect excess water. For indoor use, align the tray properly to avoid spills during watering.
Install the Inner Liner & Drainage Unit
Align the top of the liner with the outer shell and insert it vertically. The liner's raised drainage platform (flat plate + central conical diverter) should sit above or directly over the tray. Confirm that the drainage holes are unobstructed.
Final Check
Add a small amount of water to test drainage and ensure water flows properly into the tray. When moving the planter, always lift — never drag a filled planter with soil or water.
Safety Warnings
- Do not stand or sit on the planter.
- When filled, the planter is heavy. Use two people for safe lifting.
- Keep away from open flames or extreme heat, as plastic may deform.
Use & Care Manual
Intended Use
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor planting. The integrated drainage system helps prevent standing water and root rot. Compatible with direct planting or inserting pre-potted plants.
Daily Use Tips
Watering
Water according to your plant's needs. The drainage system prevents excess water buildup, but avoid chronic overwatering.
Tray Check
After watering, check the tray and empty excess water promptly (especially indoors).
Soil Choice
Use well-aerated potting mix (with perlite, vermiculite, or coarse sand) to enhance drainage performance.
Cleaning
Exterior
Wipe with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use mild soap and rinse with clean water.
Avoid
Harsh solvents, abrasive cleaners, or metal brushes.
Tray
Empty and rinse the tray regularly to prevent algae or odors.
Maintenance
- Inspect liner and drainage holes periodically. Rinse if blocked.
- Winter Care: In freezing climates, store empty planters indoors to avoid cracking.
- Sunlight: Extended UV exposure may cause fading; place in shaded areas or rotate for best results.
Troubleshooting
Yellowing Roots / Poor Drainage
Check for clogged holes; improve soil aeration and reduce watering frequency.
Tilting Planter
Verify the placement surface is level and liner is fully seated.
Tray Overflow
Reduce watering or empty the tray more often.
Eco Note
Made of durable plastic. At the end of its service life, recycle according to local regulations or repurpose for storage/decoration to reduce waste.
