6.5KW HYBRID SOLAR INVERTER CONFIGURATION INSTRUCTION
⚠️ DISCLAIMER
It is required to read through the instructions below in conjunction with the manual before installing the inverter(s). Any resulting damages or irreversible fault codes such as F09 from improper installation will not be covered by warranty.
SPLIT-PHASE CONFIGURATION
- Connect all inverter's power cables to the same battery bank. Make sure inverters are turned off. Ensure AC wires are not connected to guarantee no AC is being fed into the inverters during configuration.
- Connect the parallel communication cables along with the current sharing cables if applicable. Make sure to verify on Appendix I of the manual to confirm correct cable placements depending on your specific configuration.
- Turn on a single inverter, other inverters should be off.
- Navigate to program 28 first (since you don't want to make the inverter go on standby first, or else you won't have enough time to go all the way to program 28 and change the setting).
- Change the setting on program 28 to 2P1/2P2 180, and make sure to press the enter button to save. Afterwards, press the top left button (circular arrow) to go back to the main menu to confirm the text "2P1 or 2P2" on the top left of the screen. Wait for automatic inverter shutdown before proceeding with next inverter.
- Turn on the other inverter and repeat steps 4 and 5.
- Turn on all inverters in sequence, 2P1 inverter first then 2P2 inverter.
- Once there are no fault codes, turn on the inverters and finish up the remaining connections.
PARALLEL CONFIGURATION
- Connect all inverter's power cables to the same battery bank. Make sure inverters are turned off. Ensure AC wires are not connected to guarantee no AC is being fed into the inverters during configuration.
- Connect the parallel communication cables along with the current sharing cables if applicable. Make sure to verify on Appendix I of the manual to confirm correct cable placements depending on your specific configuration.
- Turn on a single inverter, other inverters should be off.
- Navigate to program 28 first (since you don't want to make the inverter go on standby first, or else you won't have enough time to go all the way to program 28 and change the setting) and put the inverter on standby mode by pressing the gray power button (button should be pushed out). Keep in mind, you will have 30 seconds to change the program before the inverter automatically shuts down. Program 28 will not be able to change if the inverter is not on standby mode.
- Change the setting on program 28 to “PAL", and make sure to press the enter button to save. Afterwards, press the top left button (circular arrow) to go back to the main menu. Wait for automatic inverter shutdown before proceeding with the next inverter.
- Turn on the other inverter and repeat steps 4 and 5.
- Turn on all inverters in the order they were programmed, starting with the first inverter configured and proceeding sequentially to the last.
- If successful, you will see the text “HS” for the master unit or “SL” for the slave unit on the top left of the inverter's display on the main menu.
