Product Overview
The Ulefone Armor 26 Series is a rugged smartphone designed for durability and advanced communication features, including an integrated intercom system.
Getting Started
SIM Card Installation
The device supports dual Nano-SIM cards and a TF card. To install:
- Open the SIM card slot cover.
- Insert Nano-SIM 1, Nano-SIM 2, and the TF card into their respective slots.
Network Information
The phone supports various network bands, including:
- GSM: B2/3/5/8
- CDMA: BC0/BC1/BC10
- WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/6/8/19
- LTE-FDD: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28A/28B/66/71
- LTE-TDD: B34/38/39/40/41
- Sub-6: N1/2/3/5/7/8/20/25/28/38/40/41/66/71/77/78/79
Device Features
External Components
The device features:
- Top: Antenna port*, IR remote control
- Front: Speaker, Camera, Notification LED, Light/Proximity sensor, Screen
- Side: uSmart connector, Programmable button, SIM/TF card slot
- Bottom: Microphone, Charging port
- Back: Main camera, IR LEDs, Flash lamp, NFC, SOS button
*Antenna port is available only on the Armor 26 Ultra (Walkie-Talkie version).
Battery and Charging
The Armor 26 has a built-in battery. The charging status is indicated by an icon on the top right of the display.

- Charging Limit: 8.9V
Important: The battery can only be replaced by an authorized service center. Attempting to replace it yourself will void the warranty.
Language Settings
You can change the device language at any time by going to Settings > Language.
Calls
To make a call:
- Tap the Phone app icon.
- Select or find a contact.
- Initiate the call.
You can view recent calls by tapping the clock icon. You can also dial numbers directly using the numeric keypad.
Messages
To send a message:
- Tap the Messages app icon.
- Tap to compose a new message.
- Enter the contact name or number, or tap '+' to add contacts.
- Type your message.
- Tap to add attachments.
- Tap to send the message.
Camera
To take a photo:
- Open the Camera app.
- Frame your shot.
- Tap the capture button to take the photo.
Intercom Function
Antenna Installation
- Unfold the antenna port cover and screw in the antenna.
- Unscrew the UHF/VHF antenna to replace it if necessary.
Channel Configuration
To configure channels for intercom communication:
- Press and hold the PTT button or navigate to the Intercom tab.
- Select the device and choose a common channel that matches your device's location.
- In the Channel tab, select a common channel with your partner. Both devices must be in the same mode (digital or analog, UHF or VHF) to communicate.
- Press the PTT button to send a message.
- Return to the channel and tap '+' to enter the personalized channel interface to complete the information as prompted.
- Verify the configured channel after setup.
- Press the PTT button to send a message.
Channel Settings Explained
- Channel Name: User-configurable (max 32 characters).
- Channel Type: Supports digital and analog modes, which should match the connected device.
- Frequency Band: Supports UHF and VHF bands.
- Send/Receive Frequency: Supports custom inputs tailored to device needs.
- Power: Supports low and high power modes. High power provides a stronger signal but consumes more energy.
- Color Code: Supports codes 0-15; must match on the connected device.
- Squelch Level: Scale of 0-9. 0 is monitor mode. Lower numbers increase sensitivity. Levels above 4 are recommended.
- Channel Mode: Direct Mode (TTd) is for short-range communication. Double Mode allows simultaneous communication on the same frequency for two walkie-talkie sets.
- Slot: Choose between Slot1 or Slot2 for communication.
- Contact Type: Supports individual, group, and all contacts. Individual mode is end-to-end. Group and all modes allow communication with multiple users.
- Encrypt Switch: Enable to allow anyone to join the channel (only between Armor 26 Ultra Walkie Talkie versions).
- Relay Off: Switch to transit mode. Disabling this allows the walkie-talkie to use signal amplification and extend range.
- Transmission Interruption: Allows enabling, disabling, or broadcasting.
- Group List: Configure multiple group chats.
Safety Precautions
General Safety
- Children: Exercise caution when children are near the phone, as it contains small parts that could be a choking hazard.
- Listening to Music: Avoid prolonged listening at high volumes to prevent hearing damage.
- Driving: Do not use the phone while driving. Adhere to local regulations regarding mobile phone use while operating a vehicle.
- Flights: Turn off the phone during flights to avoid interfering with aviation equipment.
- Hospitals: Switch off the phone near medical devices to prevent interference with sensitive equipment. Also, turn off the phone at gas stations and near fuel dispensers.
- Electronic Implants: If you have a pacemaker or other electronic implant, keep the phone on the opposite side of your body. If interference occurs, turn off the phone immediately and contact the implant manufacturer.
- Fire Hazard: Keep the phone away from heat sources like radiators or ovens. Do not charge the phone near flammable materials. Do not place the device in a microwave.
Charging and Battery Safety
- Use only manufacturer-approved chargers and accessories.
- Do not damage batteries or chargers. Never use damaged batteries or chargers.
- Charge the device in a well-ventilated area.
- Avoid charging the smartphone on soft surfaces.
- Keep the phone away from magnetic objects, as they can cause permanent damage.
- Avoid extreme temperatures (below -10°C or above 45°C), as they can reduce battery performance.
Handling and Care
- Handle the phone with care to avoid damage. Some parts are made of glass and can break if dropped.
- Avoid touching the screen with sharp objects.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the phone, as it poses a risk of electric shock.
- Clean the phone with a dry cloth only. Do not use solvents like gasoline or alcohol.
- Keep the phone away from credit cards, as magnetic stripes can be damaged.
