The material of construction for Kratos Harnesses is polyester. Polyester is the most popular choice of webbing as it has the least elongation properties when compared to other materials, therefore the harness does not stretch dangerously when subjected to a fall & the wearer hence does not suffer the risk of slipping out of the harness. Before wearing a harness, it is important to inspect it for certain features: · Hold the harness by the back D-ring, and let the straps fall in place. Giving full written details of our findings in line with the legislative requirements and clearly outlining if the product is fit for ongoing use. This information would also include any suggested recommendations and options to maintain the equipment correctly. We carry a large stock of spare parts to ensure we can assist with the full service package for all Kratos Safety Fall Arrest Blocks. This includes: complete strip down, recalibration of the braking system and other repairs if required. This can be carried out by oursevles or any of our approved services agents. Training GT have been authorised by Kratos Safety to fully support training courses in the UK and overseas. With our authorised trainer agreements we are able to offer all customers the knowledge and skills required to enable them to assist their clients with all their servicing needs.
