8. Marking
Products are labeled in full conformity with standards and directives using laser or sticker labels. Labels include manufacturer, product denomination/type/code, standard conformity, declared characteristics, and Icu identification.
Example of a product laser label on the front, detailing manufacturer, product code, current ratings (In, Icw, Ics), voltages (Uimp, Ui), and standard compliance.
Example of a product laser label on the side, detailing manufacturer, product type, standard conformity, and directive requirements.
Example of a mark sticker label on the side, showing product code and country deviation.

9. Curves
9.1 Tripping Curve for DMX³ 4000 MPx.10 Protection Units: L-T Protection Detail
This graph illustrates the Long Time (L) and Thermal (T) protection curve, showing the relationship between tripping time (seconds) and current (I) relative to the rated current (Ir). It defines the time delay for overload conditions.
Value | Description |
---|---|
I | Current |
Ir | Long time setting current |
tr | Long time delay |
9.2 Tripping Curve for DMX³ 4000 MPx.10 Protection Units: Short Time Trip Protection Detail
This graph details the Short Time (ST) trip protection, showing tripping time versus current for both independent time delay (t=k) and inverse time delay (I²t=k) characteristics. It covers settings for Isd and tsd.
Value | Description |
---|---|
I | Current |
Isd | Short time setting current |
tsd | Short time delay |
9.3 Tripping Curve for DMX³ 4000 MPx.10 Protection Units: Instantaneous Trip Protection Detail
This graph illustrates the instantaneous trip protection (Ii) and its relationship with current (I). It shows the tripping time for very high short-circuit currents, with settings for Ii and Isf (fixed instantaneous override).
Icu | Values for Isf |
---|---|
50 kA | 50 kA |
65 kA | 65 kA |
100 kA | 85 kA |
Value | Description |
---|---|
I | Current |
In | Rated current |
tsd | Short time delay |
Ii | Instantaneous release |
Icw | Rated short time withstand current |
9.4 Ground Fault Curve for DMX³ 4000 MPx.10 Protection Units
This graph shows the ground fault (Ig) protection curve, illustrating tripping time versus current (I/Ig) for various settings of constant tripping time (tsd=k) and constant pass-through energy (I²tsd=k).
Value | Description |
---|---|
I | Current |
In | Rated current |
Ig | Ground fault current |
tsd | Short time delay |
tsd = k | Constant tripping time setting |
