Introduction

Thank you for choosing DELI products! This manual provides operating procedures for your new digital safe. Please take time to read and familiarize yourself with the proper operating procedures.

Important: Please do not keep emergency keys in your safe!

Opening Your Safe for the First Time

Upon first opening, users should open the safe with the emergency key. The operation is detailed in the "Opening the Safe with the Emergency Key" section.

  • Remove the emergency lock cover.
  • Insert the emergency key and turn it counter-clockwise.
  • Turn the knob (master key) clockwise to open the door.

CAUTION: After finishing operation, pull out the emergency key and keep it in a safe place.

Inserting the Batteries

  • Open the door.
  • Insert 4 X AA batteries into the battery compartment.
  • Under normal conditions, if both the red and green lights are on simultaneously, it indicates low voltage, and new batteries should be inserted.

CAUTION: Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up as indicated by the + and - signs. If power is interrupted for longer than thirty minutes, you should reset the user's code.

Opening the Door

  • Input your user code (3 to 8 digits). Each digit press results in one ? [beep] and a ? [light] flash.
  • Press the A (C/#) or B (E/*) button. The ? [light] will turn on.
  • Turn the knob (master key) clockwise and pull outwards within 5 seconds to open the door.

CAUTION: The default user preset code is "159". If the yellow light flashes with three ? [beeps], the code may not be effective, and you should re-enter the code.

Closing the Door

  • Turn the knob (master key) counter-clockwise to close the door.

Automatic Lock

  • 3 continuously wrong entries will activate a warning ? [beep] for 20 seconds.
  • If the door has not been opened with the correct password, the next 3 continuously wrong entries will activate a warning ? [beep] for 5 minutes.

CAUTION: The keypad will be disabled during the beeping period. You can only stop the beeps by opening the safe with the emergency key and by removing the battery.

Setting the User Code

  • With the door open, press the reset button (labeled '2' in the control panel diagram). Wait for the yellow light to turn on.
  • Input your new code (3-8 digits).
  • Press the A (C/#) or B (E/*) button to confirm. Two ? [beeps] indicate successful acceptance and storage of the new code.
  • If the yellow light flashes with 3 ? [beeps], the code change was not effective, and you need to try again.

Opening the Safe with the Emergency Key

This method is used upon first receipt of the safe, if the electronic circuit malfunctions, or if the codes are unknown.

  • Remove the cover of the emergency lock (labeled '5' in the control panel diagram).
  • Insert the emergency key.
  • Turn the emergency key counter-clockwise.
  • Then, turn the knob (master key) clockwise to open the door.

Mounting Method

Fix the safe securely to prevent movement.

  • Drill holes for expansion bolts or clamping screws in the desired location on the wall.
  • Separate the expansion bolts (or clamping screws) by turning them counter-clockwise.
  • Use the expansion bolts (or clamping screws) to secure the safe case to the wall.
  • Ensure the case is mounted firmly and then tighten all screws.

CAUTION: Use expansion bolts for concrete walls. Use clamping screws for wooden walls.
