Introduction

The RFID module, the antenna, and the multipurpose end cap (MPEC) are provided when ordering the RFID Solution. Linear antennas read tags in horizontal position only; circular antennas read tags in all positions (horizontal and vertical).

Note: With the circular antenna, it is recommended to use the specific "Hand Strap" accessory, for a better hand positioning, P/N 1009144.

WARNING: For mounting a RFID UHF module from a separate box inside the WAP4, you should follow the instruction sheet and contact the support (www.motorolasolutions.com/support) to receive the appropriate BooST scripts. They are necessary to indicate to WAP4 the current configuration (WW/EU, Linear/Circular).
