PETINKA Learning Tower User Guide

Thank you for purchasing the PETINKA Learning Tower. Before starting assembly, please read this user guide carefully. We recommend keeping this manual for future reference.

Assembly

Assembly must be performed by an adult. This guide illustrates assembly for different tower versions:

  • BASIC: Standard configuration without safety walls.
  • CLASSIC: Standard configuration without safety walls, with the Ready to Activity (RTA) back board.
  • PREMIUM: Learning tower with four detachable safety walls, including the RTA back wall for attaching toys and activities.

The step platform can be adjusted to three different heights according to the child's age. The upper edge of the platform or tower should not be lower than the child's belly. Always secure the step platform with the enclosed screws.

Instructions for attaching toys and accessories to the RTA board can be found on the website www.petinka.com.

Intended Use

The learning tower serves as an aid for parents and children, primarily used in the kitchen. It allows children to safely explore their surroundings from different perspectives, play, observe adults cooking, and participate as their abilities allow. The tower is designed for one child only.

Version Specific Age Recommendations:

  • PREMIUM: Designed for children who can stand independently but may not walk steadily. Adult assistance is required for placing the child in the tower. Recommended age: 12 months.
  • BASIC/CLASSIC: Designed for children who can walk and climb in and out of the tower independently. Recommended age: 24 months.

Important Notices

  • Never leave a child unattended in the learning tower.
  • The tower is not a substitute for a baby-corner.
  • Ensure all screws are fully tightened before placing a child in the tower.
  • Regularly check and tighten screws as needed.
  • Keep the bundled torx key in a safe place.
  • Keep small objects, sharp objects, poisonous substances, hot objects, and electric cables away from the child's reach and at a safe distance from the learning tower to prevent choking hazards, intoxication, or other injuries.
  • Do not place the learning tower near open fire or other heat sources, such as electric or gas flames, due to the risk of inflammation.
  • Place the learning tower on a firm and stable surface. Furniture felt pads are recommended for the tower's base to prevent floor scratches.
  • Side safety grilles should only be removed when the child can walk and there is no risk of falling out of the tower's entrance.
  • After removing side safety grilles, provide extra supervision until the child becomes accustomed to climbing in and out independently.
  • If the front safety wall (facing the kitchen unit) is removed, ensure the child does not push against the kitchen unit with their legs, as a strong push could lead to the tower overturning, despite its stability.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the tower with a damp cloth. Use detergents to remove grease. Avoid using abrasive polishing scrubs or microfiber towels. Direct sunlight may cause the tower's color to fade. Placing the tower in a humid or persistently wet environment may damage the materials.
