Unfolding and Assembly of the HLG Tomahawk
The HLG Tomahawk is shipped folded within its packing box. To begin assembly, remove the lamp from the box and unfold it, placing it face down on a level surface.
Step 1: Unfolding and Initial Setup

Step 2: Locating Locking Holes
On the rails of the HLG Tomahawk, locate the PEM set locking holes. These are small threaded inserts designed to receive the locking screws.

Step 3: Securing the Lamp Open
Using the provided Allen Wrench (1), insert the two locking screws (2) into the PEM sets. Tighten each nut completely to ensure the lamp is securely held in its open position.

Step 4: Connecting Wiring Harnesses
Locate the two M16 quick connect wiring harness ends. One end is pre-attached to the lamp, and the other is attached to the driver. Connect these two M16 ends together. Tighten the screwing lock mechanism to ensure a secure connection.

Mounting the Driver on the HLG Tomahawk
Important Note: ? Mounting the driver directly onto the HLG Tomahawk fixture is not recommended by Horticulture Lighting Group (HLG). Performing this action will void the ETL Certification of the lamp. HLG assumes no responsibility for any issues arising from driver mounting.
Step 1: Positioning the Driver
Locate the driver mounting PEM sets inside the rail of the Tomahawk. Align the driver channels with these PEM sets to prepare for mounting.

Step 2: Securing the Driver
Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), insert the four driver mounting bolts (3) through the driver and into the PEM sets. Tighten these bolts securely to affix the driver to the fixture.
