Connection Sockets
The amplifier features various connection sockets for network control, audio input/output, and speaker connections. These include:
- Network Control: For network connectivity.
- GPIO: Configurable General Purpose Input/Output.
- S/PDIF Audio I/O: Digital audio input/output.
- Dante® (optional): For integration with audio over IP networks.
- Audio Inputs: Balanced Euroblock and Unbalanced RCA Phono inputs.
- Speaker Outputs: Configurable speaker outputs supporting High or Low impedance.
- AC MAINS: Power input connection.
Diagrams illustrating the layout of these connection sockets are provided for different models (e.g., 4 Channel version, 508/1008D versions).
Installation Notes
- Speaker connection options (High or Low impedance) can be selected independently for each output channel via the PowerZone™ Control Web App.
- Analogue input sensitivity can be adjusted independently for each channel via the PowerZone™ Control Web App.
- S/PDIF digital audio I/O routing can be configured via the PowerZone™ Control Web App.
- GPIO options can be configured via the PowerZone™ Control Web App.
- Optional Audinate Dante® interface for integration with audio over IP (AoIP) networks and installations.
- Ensure adequate airflow for safe and reliable operation. Do not exceed the maximum operating temperature of 40°C.
Wireless Network Control Connection
A mobile, laptop, or desktop device with WiFi and a web browser is required.
- Connect the amplifier to mains power and wait for the front panel WiFi indicator to turn green.
- Search for WiFi networks and connect to 'PowerZone™ Connect (product serial number)' using the password 'password'. The amplifier serial number is on the rear panel.
- Open a web browser and enter the IP address: 192.168.4.1. The configuration web interface will open.
It is recommended to change the default WiFi password after initial connection.
Wired Network Control Connection
A laptop or desktop device with Ethernet functionality and a web browser is required.
- Connect the amplifier's Network Control socket directly to a laptop/desktop or through a switch.
- Connect the amplifier to mains power and wait for the front panel Network indicator to turn green.
- The amplifier is configured to DHCP from the factory. The network router will assign an IP address. A network scanning app can help identify the IP address if needed.
- Download and launch the PowerZone™ Control Center desktop application from blaze-audio.com/support.
- The amplifier's name and serial number will be automatically detected in the PowerZone™ Control Center.
- Select the desired PowerZone™ Connect amplifier in PowerZone™ Control Center for configuration. Refer to the PowerZone™ Connect manual for detailed setup instructions.
It is recommended to secure the amplifier's LAN settings with a password via Settings > Security.

- Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required for damage, liquid spills, exposure to rain/moisture, abnormal operation, or drops.
- The AC mains plug is the disconnect device and must remain accessible.

- Class 2 Wiring: Exposed high voltage on speaker terminals may cause an unpleasant sensation.
