Fortin EVO-ALL Installation Guide for Volkswagen Tiguan (2018)
This guide provides instructions for installing the Fortin EVO-ALL module in a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan with a key-required ignition system.

Firmware and Options
To add firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
Firmware Version: 61.[12] VW MINIMUM
Program Bypass Options
- Program bypass option (OEM Remote Stand Alone): Program the bypass option for the OEM remote stand-alone remote starter.
- Program bypass option (with OEM alarm): Program the bypass option if the vehicle is equipped with an OEM alarm.
- Program bypass option (with RF KIT antenna): Program the bypass option with an RF KIT antenna.
Option Unit Descriptions:
- C1: OEM Remote status (Lock/Unlock) monitoring.
- D2: Unlock before / Lock after (Disarm OEM alarm).
- A11: Hood trigger (Output Status).
Notes
- 1 Key required for the installation.
- The vehicle's OEM remote will operate while the engine is running.
Mandatory Installation
Hood Pin: The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF.
Safety Warning: The installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin and the valet switch are essential security elements and must be installed. This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

- THARNESS THAR-VW6: 1x Vehicle key, 1x THAR-VW6
- THARNESS THAR-VW2: 1x Vehicle key, 1x THAR-VW2
Remote Starter Functionality
To remote start: All doors must be closed. Press the OEM remote's Lock, Unlock, Lock buttons consecutively. The vehicle will start.
To remote stop: Press the OEM remote's Lock, Unlock, Lock buttons consecutively.
Diagnostics:
- x2 flash (Red LED): Brake ON
- x3 flash (Red LED): No tach
- x4 flash (Red LED): Ignition detected before start
- x5 flash (Red LED): Hood Open
Programming Procedure
- Press and hold the programming button. Connect the 4-PIN Data-link connector (Black connector). The BLUE, RED, YELLOW and BLUE & RED LEDs will illuminate alternatively.
- Release the programming button when the BLUE LED is ON. If the LED is not solid BLUE, disconnect the 4-Pin connector (Data-Link) and go back to step 1.
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position.
- Press and release the programming button once (1x). The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Turn the key to the OFF position. The BLUE LED will turn off.
The module is now programmed.
Remote Starter Warning Card
WARNING | ATTENTION: The vehicle can be started by either pressing the Lock button on the OEM remote 3 times consecutively or by a smartphone. Turn on the safety switch located under the dashboard before working on the vehicle.
Wiring Diagrams
Detailed wire-to-wire and T-harness diagrams are provided for the installation, illustrating connections for ignition, key sense, starter, CAN bus, transponder, hood pin, brake, and hazards.
