Appliance Overview
This document provides operating instructions for the Neff SL15J1F dishwasher.
Control Panel
The control panel features the following components:
- 1 - Main Switch
- 2 - Door Handle
- 3 - Programme END indicator
- 4 - Low salt indicator
- 5 - Low rinse aid indicator
- 6 - Programme buttons
Appliance Interior
The interior of the dishwasher includes:
- 20 - Top basket
- 21 - Additional cutlery basket
- 22 - Top spray arm
- 23 - Additional cup rack
- 24 - Bottom spray arm
- 25 - Float
- 26 - Bottom basket
- 27 - Dispenser for salt with refill indicator
- 28 - Filters
- 29 - Cutlery basket
- 30 - Dispenser for rinse aid with refill indicator
- 31 - Detergent dispenser
Your dishwasher will be prepared with rinse aid and dishwasher salt.
Programme Overview
The choice of wash program depends on the type of crockery, the amount of food remains, and the condition of the food remains. The dishwasher offers several wash programs:
- Intensive: 70°C
- Normal: 65°C
- Eco: 50°C
- Quick: 35°C
- Pre-rinse
Each program consists of a sequence of rinsing, washing, and drying stages tailored to the selected load type.
Switching on the Appliance
- Switch on the main switch 1. The indicator for the most recently selected program will light up.
- This program will be performed unless another program button is pressed.
- Close the door, and the program will start automatically.
End of Programme
- The program has concluded when the PROGRAMME END indicator 3 and the indicator for the selected program are both lit up.
- The end of the program is also indicated by a buzzer.
Switching the Dishwasher Off
Several minutes after the program has ended:
- Open the door.
- Set the main switch 1 to OFF.
- Remove dishes once they have cooled down.
Programme Interruption
- Carefully open the door. Open it completely only when the spray arm is no longer turning. If the program is already in 'drying' mode, a noise will signal a reminder to close the appliance door or to abort the program.
- Switch OFF the main switch 1. The indicator light will go out, and the program will remain stored.
- To continue with the program, switch the main switch ON again and close the door.
Cancel Programme (Reset)
- This function is available only when the master is ON.
- Press the A and C program buttons simultaneously and hold them down for approximately 3 seconds.
- The program will continue for approximately 1 minute. The PROGRAMME END indicator for the program that has just been terminated will light up.
- Set the main switch 1 to OFF.
Changing the Programme
- It is possible to change the program selection after switching the dishwasher on, provided that the door has not yet been closed.
- If a program change is necessary after the door has been closed, the program cycle that has already begun will still continue to the end.
