How It Works
This section details the fundamental operations of your Shokz OpenRun headphones.
- Headphone Controls: Information on the physical controls and their functions.
- ON/OFF: Instructions on how to power the headphones on and off. To turn on, press and hold the Power/Volume + Button until the LED Indicator flashes blue and Audrey says, "Welcome to Shokz." To turn off, press and hold the Power/Volume + Button until the LED Indicator flashes red and Audrey says, "Power off."
- Pairing: Steps to connect your headphones via Bluetooth. Start with the OpenRun turned off. Press and hold the Volume + Button until the LED Indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "OpenRun by Shokz." Audrey will say "connected."
- How to Wear: Guidance on correctly positioning the headphones for optimal comfort and sound. Pick up the headphones, bring them behind the back of the base of your neck, position the earhooks on your ears, and enjoy your music. Wearing them incorrectly may cause discomfort; the transducers should rest in front of your ears.
- Volume: How to adjust the audio volume. Operate volume controls while audio is playing. Press either the Volume + or Volume - buttons to adjust. A "beep" will sound at maximum volume. Listening at high volumes may affect hearing and distort audio.
- Multifunction Button: Detailed functions of the multifunction button for music playback, calls, and voice assistants.
- Play/pause music: Click once.
- Next song: Double-click while music is playing.
- Previous song: Triple-click while music is playing.
- Answer call: Click once.
- End call: Click once during a call.
- Answer call waiting and end current call: Press and hold for 2 seconds when receiving a second call.
- Ignore a call: Press and hold for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
- Activate voice assistant: Press and hold for 2 seconds when the device is on standby.
- Redial last number: Double-click on standby. (Only applicable for phone calls, not online calls)
- Check Battery Status: How to check the remaining battery life. Operate controls while audio is not playing. Click the Volume + or Volume - button while music is paused. Audrey will announce the battery status: "Battery high/Battery medium/Battery low/Charge me."

- Multipoint Pairing: Enables connection to two devices simultaneously.
- Pair Two Devices: Switch between two devices seamlessly with multipoint pairing.
- To enable Multipoint Pairing: Start with your headphones powered off. Press and hold Volume + until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Press and hold the multifunction button and Volume + button until Audrey says, "multipoint enabled." Connect to the first device via Bluetooth, then repeat the pairing process for the second device. Turn your headphones on; they will now be connected to both devices. Audrey will say, "Welcome to Shokz, connected. Second device connected."
- Turn Multipoint Pairing Off: Start with your headphones powered off. Press and hold Volume + until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Press and hold the multifunction button and Volume – button until Audrey says, "Multipoint disabled."
- Restore Factory Settings: How to reset the headphones to their original settings. Start with your headphones powered off. Press and hold Volume + until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Press and hold the multifunction button, Volume – button, and Volume + button until you hear two beeps and feel the vibration. Turn your headphones off. OpenRun is now reset and can be re-paired to your device.
- Changing Languages: Instructions for selecting the desired voice prompt language. Your headphones have four built-in languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. Start with your headphones powered off. Press and hold Volume + until Audrey says "pairing" and the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Double-press the multifunction button. Languages have been switched when you hear the corresponding language.
Care and Maintenance

- Charging Tips: Information on charging the headphones. The headset will automatically shut down when charging. Use the provided magnetic charging cable. When the headphones are low on battery, a "charge me" prompt will sound, and the red light will flash intermittently. The LED indicator turns red during charging and blue when charging is complete.
- Moisture Detection Alert: How the headphones handle moisture during charging. These headphones can detect liquids like water, sweat, or rain. If plugged into the charger while wet, the LED indicator will flash red and blue, and the headphones will beep. Remove the charging cable, dry the headphones completely, and then proceed with charging.
