4. Function Declaration
4.1 Working Mode Setting
There are three kinds of working modes. Users can set the working mode through the phone APP software function.
- Rapid Positioning (1 minute): The equipment updates location information at 1-minute intervals. This mode uses battery faster.
- Standard Positioning (10 minutes): The equipment updates location information according to a 10-minute interval.
- Save Electricity Positioning (1 hour): The equipment updates location information at one-hour intervals. This power-saving mode uses battery slowly.
4.2 Historical Route Query
This product can store up to 3 months of route information. If two anchor points are very close, the product may filter out very close points in the route display.
4.3 Geo-fence
Users can select the Geo-fence function in the cell phone APP. On the map, a Geo-fence round area can be set. If the device moves away from the fence, the mobile phone APP client-side will display alarm information. The timing of alarm information is related to the positioning interval time setting; a smaller positioning time interval allows for more timely alarm information.
4.4 Voice Monitoring
To use the voice monitoring function, select it in the settings and enter your mobile phone number. After a short wait, the equipment will call your number. You can listen to the voice around the locator after answering. After setting up a whitelist, numbers within the whitelist can call the device, and the device will automatically answer, allowing you to listen to the voice around the locator.
4.5 Do Not Disturb Mode
The Do Not Disturb mode is primarily to prevent the locator from making sounds that might disturb the person carrying it. You can set up to four timed groups. Within these time intervals, calls to the locator will be blocked.
4.6 SMS Monitor Number and Language Time Zone Setting
After setting the message monitoring number, the SMS monitoring number can issue message commands to the device (specific message instructions are available from retailers). The SMS alarm monitoring number can receive text messages and other notification messages sent by the device. The time zone setting is designed for foreign language users; users do not need to set it up in China.
5. Key Description
When the device is in a shutdown state with sufficient power, pressing the power key will start it up. When the locator is online, it cannot be shut down manually. Under the condition that the locator is offline, you can press the power key to turn it off manually. When the locator is online, if you have set up an emergency call number, long-press the power key/SOS. The locator will dial the emergency call number. If the first number dialed answers, the device will not call the second number. If the first number does not answer, it will call the second number, dialing twice in a circular manner before terminating the call.
6. Light Effect Show
- Starting Up: Indicator light for 3 seconds.
- Charging: During charging, the indicator light stays on. After full charge, the indicator light turns off.
- Keys: When starting up, pressing the power button shows the indicator light for 2 seconds.
- Connect to Server Exception: Light flashes slowly.
