Initial Setup
Auto-Connect Earbuds
Press and hold both touch sensors for 3 seconds ? to power on. One earbud will light up solid white, and the other will flash blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair with your device.

Connect to Bluetooth
In your device settings, select 'JLab JBuds Air' ?. Connection is complete when the right earbud lights solid white after two beeps.

Setting Up/Adding a New Bluetooth Device:
Turn off Bluetooth on previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. When you remove the earbuds from the case, they will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab JBuds Air' in your device settings to connect.
Button Functions
Left Earbud:
- Volume Down: Single tap ?
- Activate SIRI (iOS) or OK GOOGLE (ANDROID): Double tap ?️
- Call: Single tap ?
- End Call: Double tap ?
- Reject Call: Press and hold button for 1 second ??
- Previous Track: Press and hold button for 1 second ⏮️
- Power On: Press and hold button for 3 seconds ?
- EQ Setting: Triple tap ?️
Right Earbud:
- Volume Up: Single tap ?
- Call: Single tap ?
- End Call: Double tap ?
- Reject Call: Press and hold button for 1 second ??
- Play/Pause: Double tap ▶️/⏸️
- Next Track: Press and hold button for 1 second ⏭️
- Power On: Press and hold button for 3 seconds ?
- EQ Setting: Triple tap ?️
Sound Prompts
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (under 20%) ⚠️
- Power Off: Chime
To Turn Off Earbuds Without Charging Case: In your device's Bluetooth settings, disconnect from 'JLab JBuds Air' ❌?. The earbuds will power off automatically after 3 minutes.
Custom EQ3 Sound
Tap either the left or right earbud 3 times to cycle through EQ settings. (3 EQ settings will switch in order.)
- JLab SIGNATURE (1 beep): Emphasizes vocals and bass.
- BALANCED (2 beeps): Balanced sound.
- BASS BOOST (3 beeps): Emphasizes bass and sub-bass.

Charging the Earbuds
To charge properly, align the corresponding L and R markings on the charging case. The earbuds will automatically turn off and begin charging ⚡. A blue light indicates the earbuds are charging, and it will turn off when charging is complete.

Remove the earbuds from the case, and they will automatically turn on ? and reconnect to your device.
Charging Case
Connect JBuds Air to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or lower) power source. It will flash white while charging ⚡ and turn solid white when fully charged.

Fitting
Adjust the position of the ear tip to ensure a comfortable fit and prevent sound leakage. Ensure the cushion fins are not blocking the microphone port.

Troubleshooting
No Sound from One Earbud (Manual Reset)
- In your device's Bluetooth settings, delete 'JLab JBuds Air' ❌.
- Open the charging case and place both earbuds inside. Press and quickly tap the button 7 times on one earbud. The light will flash blue 4 times. Place the earbud back in the charging case. Repeat with the other earbud.
- Wait for one earbud to light solid white and the other to flash blue/white. They are ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
- In your device settings, select 'JLab JBuds Air' to reconnect ?.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting/Reconnecting
- In your device's Bluetooth settings, delete 'JLab JBuds Air' ❌.
- In your device settings, turn Bluetooth off ? and then on again ?.
- Open the charging case, wait for one earbud to light solid white and the other to flash blue/white.
- Select 'JLab JBuds Air' in your device settings to reconnect ?.

Call Echo
If you experience microphone echo or reduced call quality with JBuds Air, ensure the cushion fins are not blocking the microphone port.

Quick Tips
- To avoid damaging the charging case, ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the case. Earbuds are sweat/water resistant, but the case is not.
- You can connect and use one earbud individually. They will automatically connect when removed from the charging case.
- Selecting the right ear tip will significantly improve sound quality by preventing sound leakage. Try all ear tips for the best fit.
Warning
To avoid damaging the charging case, ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the case. Earbuds are water resistant, but the case is not.
Precautions
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not drop or crush the earbuds.
- Earwax buildup on the earbud tips can reduce sound quality. Carefully remove earwax using a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume ? or discontinue use temporarily.
- If you experience regular discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Treat your earbuds like a nice pair of sunglasses; store them in a safe place when not in use.
