Daily Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the scooter body with a damp cloth for stains. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste with a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth. Use sandpaper for scratches on plastic parts.
Notes: Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive solvents. Do not wash with a high-pressure water jet. Ensure the scooter is powered off, charging cable unplugged, and rubber covers closed during cleaning to prevent electric shock or other issues.
Storage and Maintenance
Battery Care: Water ingress into the battery can cause circuit damage, fire, or explosion. If water is suspected, stop using the battery and send it for inspection. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations; do not mix with household waste.
Storage: Store the scooter indoors in a dry, cool place. Avoid prolonged outdoor storage, as excessive sun, heat, or cold can accelerate tire aging and affect scooter/battery lifespan.
Long-Term Storage: If the scooter will not be used for over 30 days, fully charge the battery and store it in a dry, cool place. Recharge every 60 days to protect the battery from damage beyond the limited warranty.
Battery Performance: Charge the battery before discharge to extend its life. Batteries perform best at normal temperatures; performance degrades below 0°C (e.g., range may halve below -20°C), recovering as temperature rises.
WARNING: Damage from prolonged non-charging is irreversible and not covered by warranty. Do not disassemble the battery pack; it is dangerous.
Product Warranty
This product comes with a 30-day limited replacement warranty for manufacturing defects. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts at RCB's discretion. It does not cover damage from improper maintenance, normal wear and tear (tires, fragile parts like glass/plastic), or unauthorized modifications/repairs. Extended warranties do not reset the warranty period. Claims for consequential damages outside the product are excluded unless legally mandated.
RCB may refuse service claims not covered by the warranty. For out-of-warranty repair pricing and availability, contact: contact@rcb-scooter.com.
