Setting Up Your Phone

Step 1. Remove the battery cover.

Using a coin, rotate the battery cover screw counter-clockwise to loosen it. You should hear a click when it's loose. Insert your fingernail into the slit at the bottom of the battery cover and lift it off.

Step 2. Insert a microSD™ card (optional).

NOTE: microSD cards are sold separately.

Insert your fingernail into the slit on the SIM/microSD guard and gently flip the guard up. Slide the microSD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down. Gently push the card into place and replace the guard.

Step 3. Insert the battery.

Insert the battery, aligning the gold contacts. Press down gently to secure it.

Step 4. Replace the battery cover.

Replace the battery cover, ensuring all tabs are secure and there are no gaps. Using a coin, rotate the battery cover screw clockwise until it is tight. Ensure you press all around the edges to maintain the waterproof seal.

Step 5. Charge your phone.

Before turning on, charge the phone fully. Use only a USB Type-C charger/cable. Open the USB/Charger port cover. Insert the small end of the USB cable into the port and the larger end into an AC adapter plugged into an outlet. Remove the cable when charging is complete and securely close the cover.

WARNING: Use only approved chargers and cables. Improper handling or use of incompatible accessories may damage the device and void the warranty.

NOTE: Keep the USB/Charger port cover closed when not in use to maintain cleanliness and dryness.
