This document provides assembly instructions for the ZINUS bed frame, model ZU-FPBNH1ZC-14-1. The assembly process is designed to be straightforward, with numbered parts and clear steps.

The main frame consists of two side rails (A), headboard/footboard brackets (B), center support legs (C), and support beams (D). The headboard and footboard feature horizontal slats (E), and the bed base includes additional support slats (F) and a center support bar (G).

Key components and their typical placement:

  • Side Rails (A) form the outer frame.
  • Headboard/Footboard Brackets (B) attach to the ends of the side rails and support the headboard/footboard structure.
  • Center Support Legs (C) provide stability to the support beams.
  • Support Beams (D) run horizontally across the width of the bed frame.
  • Headboard Slats (E) are the horizontal pieces forming the headboard.
  • Support Slats (F) provide mattress support.
  • Center Support Bar (G) runs lengthwise, connecting the support slats and providing additional stability.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Attach one Side Rail (A) to a Headboard/Footboard Bracket (B). Ensure the bracket is oriented correctly (UP). Use two Bolts (L) ?.

Parts Used: A, B, L (x2)

Step 2

Attach the other Side Rail (A) to the same Headboard/Footboard Bracket (B). Ensure correct orientation (UP). Use two Bolts (L) ?.

Parts Used: A, B, L (x2)

Step 3

Attach two Center Support Legs (C) to the underside of the two Support Beams (D). Use four Bolts (M) ?, two per leg.

Parts Used: C (x2), D (x2), M (x4)

Step 4

Attach the Support Beams (D) with attached Center Support Legs (C) to the Side Rails (A). Use two Bolts (I) ? for each connection point (total 4x I).

Parts Used: D, C, A, I (x4)

Step 5

Attach the second Headboard/Footboard Bracket (B) to the other ends of the Side Rails (A). Use two Bolts (L) ? on each side (total 4x L).

Parts Used: B, A, L (x4)

Step 6

Attach the three Support Slats (F) to the Side Rails (A) and Support Beams (D). The first slat uses three Bolts (L) and three Bolts (I). The second and third slats each use two Bolts (L) and two Bolts (I).

Parts Used: F (x3), L (x7), I (x7)

Step 7

Attach the Center Support Bar (G) to the Support Slats (F). Use three Bolts (L) ? and three Bolts (I) ?.

Parts Used: G, F, L (x3), I (x3)

Step 8

Attach the Center Support Bar (G) to the Side Rails (A). Use two Bolts (L) ? and two Bolts (I) ?.

Parts Used: G, A, L (x2), I (x2)

Step 9

Attach the Headboard Slats (E) to the Headboard Brackets (B). Use two Bolts (L) ? and two Bolts (I) ?.

Parts Used: E (x2), B, L (x2), I (x2)

Step 10

Attach the second set of Headboard Slats (E) to the Headboard Brackets (B). Use two Bolts (L) ? and two Bolts (I) ?.

Parts Used: E (x2), B, L (x2), I (x2)

Step 11

Attach any remaining Support Slats (F) and ensure the Center Support Bar (G) is secured. The diagram indicates using two Bolts (S) ? and two Bolts (I) ? for the final slats.

Parts Used: F, G, S (x2), I (x2)

Step 12

Final check: Ensure all bolts are securely tightened using the Allen Wrench (H) ?. Verify the stability of the assembled bed frame.
