Tips:
- A. Modems, routers, and switches for internet connection are omitted from the reference diagrams; practical applications require these connections.
- B. According to your needs, please refer to the connection method above. Otherwise, it may display "No internet Connection / Connected, no internet".
2. Connect to WiFi
In router mode, connect all parts of the device as shown. You can find the AP WiFi name "COMFAST_XXXX_2G/5G" in the smartphone WiFi list and connect without a password. To change the WiFi name and password, refer to the advanced settings section.
Advanced Settings
1. Smartphone Access Device
- Refer to the connection methods above for the AP device to work in router mode.
- Use your smartphone to connect to the AP's WiFi hotspot "COMFAST_XXXX_2G/5G".
- Open the mobile browser and enter 192.168.10.1 to access the login page.
- Before logging in, set the page language to English using the language icon in the bottom right corner. (The interface shows options for "English" and "简体中文" - Simplified Chinese).
- Enter the default login password "admin" to access the device.
2. Computer Access Device
- Refer to the connection methods above for the AP device to work in routing mode.
- Enter 192.168.10.1 in the computer browser to go to the login page.

3. Setting WiFi Name and Password
Setting path: Network > Wireless > 2.4G Wireless or 5.8G Wireless > Enter New SSID > Enter New Password > Apply.
It is recommended that the SSIDs for 2.4G WiFi and 5.8G WiFi be set to different names for easy distinction, and the passwords be set to the same for easy memory.
The advantage of 2.4G WiFi is its strong penetration, but it is prone to interference. The 5.8G WiFi offers better anti-interference, longer transmission distance, and good stability. It is recommended to connect to 5.8G WiFi hotspots for daily use.
4. IP Address Settings
The default IP address is 192.168.10.1. You can set a new IP address according to your needs. This option is not recommended if you are not a professional.
Setting path: Network > LAN > Enter new IP address, etc. > Apply.
Screenshot shows the LAN settings interface with fields for IP Address, Subnet Mask, DHCP Server Start IP, End IP, Lease Time, and Domain Name.
