Blaupunkt Speaker wired to a single channel
Describes a single Blaupunkt speaker connected to a single channel amplifier output, resulting in a total impedance of 4 ohms per channel.
Blaupunkt Speakers wired in parallel to a single channel
Describes two Blaupunkt speakers wired in parallel to a single channel amplifier output, resulting in a total impedance of 2 ohms per channel.
Mounting / Montaje
NOTE: Blaupunkt strongly recommends operating your system at low volume levels prior to the complete installation of your Blaupunkt speakers.
CAUTION: Ensure all speaker wiring is fully protected from cuts, tears, or possible wear. Any short circuit caused by damage could severely damage the source unit or amplifier. Make sure all speaker wires easily reach the speaker terminals without stress on the wires or connectors.
IMPORTANT: Never cut any metal that is an integral part of the vehicle's safety or structural support system. If unsure about the importance of any vehicle components, it is recommended to have your speaker professionally installed.
CHOOSING A LOCATION: It is always best to plan the complete installation prior to attempting to install any product. The routing of wires, power connections, and mounting location should be planned first. As with any car stereo installation, all work performance should be checked thoroughly and carefully prior to the operation of the system.
Blaupunkt Speakers are designed to fit in almost any factory location. If possible, it is recommended to use factory locations, especially for later model cars. For earlier model cars without factory locations or limited to front speakers, choose a location with sufficient air space. Insufficient air space may prevent the woofer from reproducing low frequencies effectively. It is recommended to mount speakers in door panels, kick panels, rear decks, etc., ideally in an enclosed airspace for extended bass response.
