Most brackets are reversible, enabling compatibility with shelves of different depths. The EKBY system is suitable for most rooms in your home, with the exception of damp environments.
Safety Information
Safety Note: Tempered glass requires careful handling. Damaged edges or scratched surfaces can cause the glass to break suddenly. If breakage occurs, it will result in small fragments, not sharp splinters.
Important Considerations
Good to Know: The type of wall fixing required depends on your wall material. Always use screws and wall plugs suitable for your specific walls (sold separately). If you are unsure about the correct fixings, consult your local hardware store.
Wall Mounting: The stability and strength of your EKBY wall unit depend on the chosen fixing method. Since wall materials vary, screws and wall plugs are not included with the brackets. Select fixings appropriate for your wall type. If you cannot find suitable options in the IKEA FIXA range, seek advice from a hardware store. Using the correct screws and wall plugs ensures your favorite items are securely stored on your wall unit.
