Get to Know the Router
Ports and Buttons
- PON: For fiber optic cable connection.
- WAN/LAN: Ethernet port for internet connection (can also function as LAN).

How to Connect
- Power on the router: Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V port and plug it into a power outlet. Use the POWER switch.
- Connect to the Internet:
- Fiber Optic: Connect the fiber optic cable to the PON port.
- Ethernet: Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to your modem's LAN port and the other end to the router's WAN/LAN port.
- Connect Devices:
- Wireless: Connect your smartphone or other wireless devices to the router's Wi-Fi network.
- Wired: Connect your computer to one of the LAN ports using an Ethernet cable.
Suggestions / Q&A
Optimal WiFi Placement:
- Place the router in an elevated, open, and unobstructed location, avoiding confined spaces or corners.
- Ensure all router antennas are positioned upright.
- Keep the router away from metal obstructions such as electrical boxes and metal racks.
- Position the router away from electrical devices that may cause interference, such as microwaves, ovens, refrigerators, and cordless phones.
Troubleshooting
Issue: Power indicator light is off after pressing the power button.
Solution: Ensure the power adapter is properly connected to the device and the power outlet. Use the provided power adapter.
Issue: Indicator light flashes red or remains fixed in red after turning on the device.
Solution:
- The fiber optic cable may not be properly connected to the ONT PON interface.
- Check for fiber optic cable breakage or damage.
- If the issue persists, contact your service provider for maintenance.
Issue: GPON link has not been established or ONT is not registered (red indicator light).
Solution:
- Ensure the GPON link is established.
- Verify the ONT is registered.
- If the indicator light remains fixed red or continues to flash, contact your service provider for maintenance.
Issue: Green LAN indicator light on the front panel goes out.
Solution:
- No corresponding LAN link has been established.
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to the LAN interface.
- Verify that the network device connected to the LAN interface is turned on.
- If the issue persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
Issue: Phone indicator light on the front panel goes out.
Solution: There might be an issue with the phone line registration. Please contact your service provider for assistance.
