Operating Instructions

I: Double Loop Wire Selection

Refer to the specifications table above to select the appropriate double loop wire size based on the number of sheets you intend to bind and the desired pitch (e.g., 3:1 pitch is commonly used with this machine).

II: Dial for Punching or Wire Spine's Diameter Size

This dial is used to set the machine for the correct punching configuration or to match the diameter of the wire spine you are using. Align the white mark on the dial with the required setting for your binding job.

[Diagram Description: A circular dial with numerical markings (e.g., 6.4, 9.5, 12.7) and a pointer indicating the selected size. This dial is crucial for ensuring proper hole punching and wire fit.]

III: Attention and Safety

  • Maximum binding capacity: 15 sheets of 80g paper ✔️
  • Exceeding capacity may damage the machine: More than 15 sheets of 80g paper ❌
  • Regularly clean up waste paper from the collection tray to maintain machine performance.

  • Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, level working surface before operation.

  • ⚠️ This machine is not intended for operation by children. Adult supervision is required.

  • When selecting wire size, consider the paper type (e.g., glass, wet paper, fabric, metal) as it may affect binding results.

IV: Operation Diagram

Initial Setup: Before first use or after a period of inactivity, please use the enclosed oil-removing paper to punch through the machine. This process cleans the punching blades.

Follow these steps for binding:

  1. Adjust the margin: Set the desired margin for the punched holes.
  2. Choose number of holes: Select the quantity of holes to be punched according to your document size and binding requirements.
  3. Punching: Insert your document pages into the punching area and activate the punching mechanism.
  4. Place wire spine: Take a 3:1 pitch wire-o spine and place it onto the punched holes of your document.
  5. Insert wire into slot: Position the wire ring into the designated pressure slot. Ensure the wire ring is magnetically absorbed into place.
  6. Select binding ring size: Turn the knob to select the correct size for the binding ring. The white mark on the knob should align with the necessary size indicator for proper binding.
  7. Binding: Complete the binding process by closing the wire spine.
