The Anviz GC100 and GC150 are professional fingerprint time attendance and access control systems designed to simplify workplace management.

Hardware Safety Instructions
To ensure safe operation and prevent damage:
- Avoid using oily water or sharp objects on the display screen and buttons.
- Handle the device with care to prevent falling, crashing, bending, or heavy pressing, as it contains fragile parts.
- The optimal working environment is indoors, with a recommended temperature range of -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F).
- Gently wipe the screen and panel with soft materials; avoid water or detergent.
- The power supply for GC100 is DC 5V/1A, and for GC150 is DC 12V/1A. Extended power supply cables (over 5 meters) may affect performance.
- Do not install in locations with direct sunlight, moisture, dust, or soot.
Installation
Install the Device
- Mount the back board on the wall and connect the wires.
- Fix the device from the bottom and screw it into place.
- Ensure the device is securely fixed.
Interface Description
The device features various interfaces for connectivity:
- TCP/IP: RJ45 Network port for Ethernet connectivity.
- Access Control I/O (GC150 Only): Terminals for connecting access control components like door locks, sensors, and exit buttons. Includes connections for NC (Normally Closed), NO (Normally Open), COM (Common), BELL+, BELL-, DC12V, D/M, D/S, WG0, WG1, 485A, 485B, GND.
- USB Host: For firmware updates or connecting external devices.
- Firmware Update: Dedicated connection for firmware updates.
Device Operation
How to Press Fingerprint
Correct Method:
- Press finger on the center of the sensor.
- Press finger flatly and smoothly on the sensor.
- Press fingertip.
Incorrect Method:
- Finger not placed on the center of the sensor.
- Inclined finger.
Basic Settings
Access the main menu by pressing the 'M' [Menu Button]. Navigate through settings using directional keys and confirm with 'OK'.
To access the management menu without an administrator password, press the 'M' [Menu Button].
Navigate to 'Setting' > 'Device' or 'Time' to configure basic parameters:
- Device ID: Unique identifier for the device.
- Volume: Adjust audio feedback volume.
- Standby Time: Set the duration before the device enters standby mode.
- Lock Delay: Configure delay for locking mechanisms.
- Sensor Always On: Option to keep the sensor active.
- Date: Set the current date.
- Time: Set the current time.
- Date Format: Choose between MM-DD-YY or other formats.
- Language: Select the display language (e.g., English).
How to Register a New User
- Select 'User' from the main menu.
- Select 'Add' and press 'OK'.
- Fill in user information (User ID is required).
- Select 'FP1' or 'FP2' to enroll fingerprints.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to press the same finger on the sensor twice for enrollment.
- Optionally, set a password or card for the user.
- Assign the user to a group.
- Press 'Save' to complete user registration.
Network Configuration
The devices support Ethernet and WiFi connectivity in Server and Client modes.
Ethernet Server Mode
Steps:
- Connect the network cable.
- Navigate to 'Network' > 'Common' to select the communication mode.
- Select 'Ethernet Server' mode.
- Configure static IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway IP address. The default communication port is 5010.
- Save the settings.
Note: In Server Mode, the device acts as a server and requires a static IP address for the management software to pull data. DHCP is not supported.
Ethernet Client Mode
Steps:
- Navigate to 'Network' > 'Common'.
- Select 'Ethernet Client' mode.
- Choose between 'Static' or 'DHCP' for network setup.
- In 'Static' mode, enter the device's static IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and Server IP address (default port 5010).
- In 'DHCP' mode, the device automatically acquires network information and requires the Server IP (default port 5010).
- Use 'Get Local IP' to search for the device's IP address on the network.
- Save the settings.
Note: In Client Mode, the device works as a client and pushes data to the management software server using a static IP address.
WiFi Server Mode (GC100-WiFi & GC150 only)
Steps:
- Navigate to 'Common' > 'WiFi'.
- Select 'WiFi Server' mode.
- Configure the device's static IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway IP address. The default communication port is 5010.
- Save the network setup.
Note: WiFi Server Mode requires a static IP address for communication. The management software pulls data via command.
WiFi Client Mode (GC100-WiFi & GC150 only)
Steps:
- Navigate to 'Common' > 'WiFi'.
- Select 'WiFi Client' mode.
- Choose between 'Static' or 'DHCP'.
- In 'Static' mode, enter the device's static IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and Server IP address (default port 5010).
- In 'DHCP' mode, the device automatically acquires network information and requires the Server IP (default port 5010).
- Use 'Get Local IP' to search for the device's IP address.
- Save the settings.
Notes:
- WiFi connection does not support hidden networks.
- WiFi passwords support alphanumeric characters up to 16 characters.
- It is recommended to use 'WIFI Client - DHCP' mode for WiFi connection.
Access Control Wiring (GC150)
The GC150 can be wired to various access control components:
- Power Supply: Connect to DC12V.
- Door Lock: Connect to COM, NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) terminals depending on the lock type.
- Exit Button: Connect to the designated terminals.
- Door Open Sensor: Connect to the designated terminals.
- Wiegan Card Reader: Connect to WG0, WG1, GND terminals.
- Other connections: BELL+, BELL-, 485A, 485B, D/M, D/S.
GC150 & Anviz SC011 Integration
The SC011 can be integrated with the GC150 for an access control system using Anviz encrypted Wiegand code.
Step 1: Setup GC150 Wiegand Output Mode
- Access the device management menu ('M' [Menu Button]).
- Navigate to 'Setting' > 'WG/Card'.
- Select 'WG Output' and choose 'Anviz WG'.
- Save the setup.
Step 2: Authorize the GC150 device with SC011
- Activate the 'Program Switch' on the SC011.
- Verify a registered user on the GC150. The SC011 should beep and show a green LED upon successful authorization.
- Deactivate the program status on the SC011.
Software and Support
Download management software such as CrossChex Standard from the Anviz website or provided links.
