The Anviz GC100 and GC150 are professional fingerprint time attendance and access control systems designed to simplify workplace management.

Install the Device

  1. Mount the back board on the wall and connect the wires.
  2. Fix the device from the bottom and screw it into place.
  3. Ensure the device is securely fixed.

Basic Settings

Access the main menu by pressing the 'M' [Menu Button]. Navigate through settings using directional keys and confirm with 'OK'.

To access the management menu without an administrator password, press the 'M' [Menu Button].

Navigate to 'Setting' > 'Device' or 'Time' to configure basic parameters:

How to Register a New User

  1. Select 'User' from the main menu.
  2. Select 'Add' and press 'OK'.
  3. Fill in user information (User ID is required).
  4. Select 'FP1' or 'FP2' to enroll fingerprints.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to press the same finger on the sensor twice for enrollment.
  6. Optionally, set a password or card for the user.
  7. Assign the user to a group.
  8. Press 'Save' to complete user registration.

Network Configuration

The devices support Ethernet and WiFi connectivity in Server and Client modes.

Ethernet Server Mode

Steps:

  1. Connect the network cable.
  2. Navigate to 'Network' > 'Common' to select the communication mode.
  3. Select 'Ethernet Server' mode.
  4. Configure static IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway IP address. The default communication port is 5010.
  5. Save the settings.

Note: In Server Mode, the device acts as a server and requires a static IP address for the management software to pull data. DHCP is not supported.

Ethernet Client Mode

Steps:

  1. Navigate to 'Network' > 'Common'.
  2. Select 'Ethernet Client' mode.
  3. Choose between 'Static' or 'DHCP' for network setup.
  4. In 'Static' mode, enter the device's static IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and Server IP address (default port 5010).
  5. In 'DHCP' mode, the device automatically acquires network information and requires the Server IP (default port 5010).
  6. Use 'Get Local IP' to search for the device's IP address on the network.
  7. Save the settings.

Note: In Client Mode, the device works as a client and pushes data to the management software server using a static IP address.

WiFi Server Mode (GC100-WiFi & GC150 only)

Steps:

  1. Navigate to 'Common' > 'WiFi'.
  2. Select 'WiFi Server' mode.
  3. Configure the device's static IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway IP address. The default communication port is 5010.
  4. Save the network setup.

Note: WiFi Server Mode requires a static IP address for communication. The management software pulls data via command.

WiFi Client Mode (GC100-WiFi & GC150 only)

Steps:

  1. Navigate to 'Common' > 'WiFi'.
  2. Select 'WiFi Client' mode.
  3. Choose between 'Static' or 'DHCP'.
  4. In 'Static' mode, enter the device's static IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and Server IP address (default port 5010).
  5. In 'DHCP' mode, the device automatically acquires network information and requires the Server IP (default port 5010).
  6. Use 'Get Local IP' to search for the device's IP address.
  7. Save the settings.

Access Control Wiring (GC150)

The GC150 can be wired to various access control components:

GC150 & Anviz SC011 Integration

The SC011 can be integrated with the GC150 for an access control system using Anviz encrypted Wiegand code.

Step 1: Setup GC150 Wiegand Output Mode

  1. Access the device management menu ('M' [Menu Button]).
  2. Navigate to 'Setting' > 'WG/Card'.
  3. Select 'WG Output' and choose 'Anviz WG'.
  4. Save the setup.

Step 2: Authorize the GC150 device with SC011

  1. Activate the 'Program Switch' on the SC011.
  2. Verify a registered user on the GC150. The SC011 should beep and show a green LED upon successful authorization.
  3. Deactivate the program status on the SC011.
