Use & Care

Installation Instructions

  1. Open the front shell of the air purifier and unwrap the plastic package of the HEPA filter.
  2. Reinstall the HEPA filter, ensuring the pull-tab is facing outward. Then reinstall the front shell. Note: If the front shell is not reinstalled properly, the air purifier will not power on.
  3. Place the air purifier on a flat and firm position. Place it at least 15 inches (38 cm) away from TVs, radios, and other electronic products to avoid potential malfunction due to electromagnetic interference. Avoid flimsy or slanted surfaces to prevent noise and vibrations.

Operation

  1. Insert the power cord into an electrical outlet. WARNING: Follow these instructions to reduce the risk of serious injury or death and to reduce risk of damaging the unit. Ensure the operating voltage matches the unit's rating. For American and Canadian users, the polarized plug fits a 120V outlet one way. If it doesn't fit, reverse it. If it still doesn't fit, contact qualified personnel.
  2. Control Panel Introduction:
    • On/Off Button: Press to turn the air purifier on or off.
      Note: The On/Off Button light flashes continuously when it's time to replace the filter. Replace the filter, then press and hold the On/Off Button for 5 seconds to reset the filter usage indicator.
    • Fan Speed Setting: Press to cycle through 3 fan speeds: low, medium, and high.
    • Sleep Mode Button: Press to select Sleep Mode, where the fan runs at the quietest level.
    • On/Off Timer Button:
      • Delay Start Timer: Set a delay start from 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The air purifier will start running after the timer reaches zero.
      • Delay Off Timer: Set a delay off from 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The air purifier will enter standby mode after the timer reaches zero.
      • Note: To cancel a timer, press the timer button until its light turns off. The timer resets with each new selection.
    • Child Lock: Press and hold the Child Lock button for 5 seconds until the light glows to activate. Other buttons become unusable. Press and hold again for 5 seconds to unlock.
    • Memory Function: The APH230C remembers and resumes your last used setting upon restart.

Maintenance

Know the 7-in-1 HEPA Filter: The On/Off Button light flashing indicates it's time to check and change the air filter. Replacing the filter every 6-8 months is recommended for optimal use, or as needed based on filter status.

Replace the Air Filter:

  1. Power off and unplug the unit before operating.
  2. Remove the front shell.
  3. Take out the old filter by pulling the tab. Unwrap a new one.
  4. Install the new filter with the pull-tab facing outward. Reattach the front shell.
  5. Power on the unit. Press and hold the On/Off Button for 5 seconds to reset the replacement reminder.

Significantly reduced airflow.Not enough space around the unit.
The plastic bag of the filter wasn't unwrapped yet.
Ensure at least 15 inches (38cm) clearance between the unit and other objects.
Make sure to unwrap the plastic bag of the filter before using.
Poor air purification quality.The air inlet or outlet is blocked.
The filter is not properly placed in housing.
Remove objects blocking the air inlet or outlet.
Properly place the filter as noted.
