Hörmann HE1 – HEI1 Programming Notice
Instructions for connecting your receiver.
Receiver Wiring
Follow these steps to connect your Hörmann HE1 or HEI1 receiver:
Wiring Diagram:
- White wire: Connects to CH1 terminal on the motor.
- Green wire: Connects to CH1 terminal on the motor.
- Brown wire: Connects to the '+' terminal of the motor (or 24V terminal).
- F1 wire: A new electrical wire (F1) should be connected between the CH1 terminal (where the green wire is inserted) and the motor's GND terminal.
- Cut off the power to your installation.
- Strip the end of the receiver's cable to expose three wires: brown, green, and white. Strip these wires as well.
- Make the electrical connections as shown in the diagram above:
- Connect the green wire and the white wire between the CH1 terminals of the motor (insert the wires into the holes below the screws and then tighten the screws to secure them).
- Connect the brown wire to the '+' terminal of the motor (or the 24V terminal).
- Take a similar new electrical wire (F1) and connect it between the CH1 terminal where you inserted the green wire and the motor's GND terminal.
- Your receiver is now connected.
