This manual provides detailed instructions for installing the Faber IN-NOVA AIR X range hood. Please read all safety information and follow the steps carefully.

Included Components
The following components are supplied with your Faber IN-NOVA AIR X range hood:
- Screw A: (2.9 x 7.5 mm) - 6 pieces
- Screw B: (3.5 x 16 mm) - 4 pieces
- Screw D: 4 pieces
- Part C: Mounting bracket - 1 piece
- Part E: Duct connection component - 1 piece
- Part F: Duct connector - 1 piece
- Part G: Outer casing/cover - 1 piece
Dimensions and Clearances
Key dimensions and required clearances for installation:
- Ducting Options: Compatible with Ø 120 mm and Ø 150 mm ducting pipes, requiring sealing rings (2x per size).
- Minimum Vertical Clearance Above Hob: 410 mm
- Minimum Distance from Hob: 530 mm
- Minimum Ventilation Clearance: 150 mm
- Overall Unit Dimensions: Widths vary from 600 mm to 1200 mm depending on the model. Depth is approximately 320 mm. Height of the main unit is around 260 mm, excluding the adjustable cover.
Installation Procedure
Step 1: Mark Installation Points
[domestic-installation] Position the main unit above the intended hob location. Use a pencil to mark the precise points for mounting on the wall or cabinet.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Bracket
[domestic-installation] Secure the mounting bracket (Part C) to the marked points using screws (A).
Step 3: Insert Component Z
[domestic-installation] Insert the component labeled 'Z' into its designated slot on the unit or bracket.
Step 4: Mount Main Unit
[domestic-installation] Place the main range hood unit into position. Secure it by inserting two screws (A) through the unit's frame into the pre-drilled holes.
Step 5: Secure Unit to Structure
[domestic-installation] Further secure the unit by using screws (D). Diagrams indicate specific placement at 18 mm and 19 mm from edges, with a checkmark ✔️ confirming correct installation.
Step 6: Slide Unit into Final Position
[domestic-installation] Slide the main unit into its final installed position, ensuring it is properly supported by brackets (B).
Step 7: Connect Ducting Pipe
Connect the appropriate exhaust ducting pipe (either Ø150 mm or Ø120 mm) to the duct connector (Part F).
Step 8: Assemble Ducting Components
Attach component E to component F. Then, connect this assembled section to the main unit.
Step 9: Fit Outer Casing and Duct
[domestic-installation] Fit the outer casing/cover (Part G) over the main unit. Connect the exhaust ducting to this cover.
Step 10: Secure Outer Casing
[domestic-installation] Fasten the outer casing/cover (Part G) securely to the unit using two screws (A).
Step 11: Connect Flexible Ducting
Connect any required flexible ducting or hoses as illustrated in the diagram.
Step 12: Install Access Component
[domestic-installation] Install component labeled 'Z' into the unit. This component is typically for accessing or securing filters.
Step 13: Install Filter
[domestic-installation] Attach component 'W' (likely a grease filter) and secure it in place using component 'Z'.
