Product Description
The B.RO22 LED is a 2-channel rolling code receiver designed for managing two clean contact relays via variable code radio commands. It supports independent learning for each relay.
Installation
Connect the receiver according to the provided diagram. Ensure the correct voltage selection jumper (Jumper C) is set for either 12 Vac/dc (closed) or 24 Vac/dc (open). Connect the power supply to terminals 5 and 6. If using multiple receivers, space them 3-4 meters apart to prevent interference. For optimal performance, connect a good quality ground to terminal 7 (screw terminal version) or terminal 9 (plug-in connector version). Position the antenna away from obstacles and metal structures, or above them if grounded. Connect the antenna signal to terminal 8 (screw terminal) or terminal 10 (plug-in connector) and the shielding to terminal 7 (screw terminal) or terminal 9 (plug-in connector). The antenna is crucial for maximum range; without it, the range is significantly reduced. If the antenna cable is too short, replace it with a longer one of the same impedance (50 ohm, e.g., RG58), ensuring the total cable length does not exceed 10 meters. If wall-mounting, use appropriate screws and anchors to support a downward force of 50N.
Important Note: If the receiver is powered by AC voltage (Vac), use an isolation transformer (SELV) with limited power or short-circuit protection.
Transmitter Management
How to Memorize a Transmitter Code
- Power the receiver on terminals 5 and 6, ensuring Jumper C is correctly set.
- Press the learning button briefly. LED1 will indicate the learning phase is active. LED2 or LED3 will indicate the selected channel for learning.
- Press the learning button once to select Channel 1 (LED2 illuminates). Press it twice to select Channel 2 (LED3 illuminates).
- Transmit the radio command from the transmitter you wish to memorize. The corresponding channel LED will flash to confirm successful memorization, and the learning mode will reactivate.
- The learning mode exits automatically after 10 seconds of inactivity or by pressing the learning button again. All LEDs will turn off.
Attention: If LED 2/3 does not blink during memorization, the code was not stored. Verify the transmitter frequency matches the receiver, it's a rolling code type, or the memory is full (maximum transmitters learned).
How to Cancel a Single Transmitter
- Approach the receiver.
- Press and hold the hidden button on the transmitter to be cancelled.
- While holding the hidden button, press the first button on the transmitter.
- All receiver LEDs will blink. When they turn off, the transmitter has been cancelled from all receivers within range.
How to Cancel All Transmitters and Settings (Reset)
- Disconnect power from the receiver.
- Press and hold the learning button, then reconnect the power. LED1 will illuminate after approximately 5 seconds.
- Release the learning button.
- Wait for LED1 to blink 2 or 3 times. When it turns off, all codes are cancelled.
Function Selection
The receiver offers three output modes for the relays:
- IMMEDIATE: The relay remains active as long as the radio signal is received (i.e., the relay is closed while the transmitter button is held down).
- STEP-BY-STEP: The relay toggles its state with each subsequent command. Press once to activate, press again to deactivate.
- ON TIME: The relay remains activated for a programmable duration, ranging from 1 second to 18 hours.
Setting Functions: Use Jumpers A and B to select the mode for each channel/relay:
- MODE 1 (STEP-BY-STEP): Jumper closed.
- MODE 2 (IMMEDIATE / TIMED): Jumper open.
Timed Function Mode Settings
When MODE 2 is selected (Jumper open), the timing type (immediate or timed) can be configured:
- Activate the configuration menu by pressing and holding the learning button until LED2 starts blinking simultaneously with LED1. The blinking pattern of the channel LED indicates the current selection: fast blinking for immediate, slow blinking for timed.
- To move to the next channel, press and hold the learning button for at least 3 seconds.
- With the desired channel selected, change the timing type by pressing and releasing the learning button. The slow blinking of the corresponding relay LED indicates the timed mode.
- To program the timed duration, transmit a memorized radio command associated with the selected channel. The channel LED will begin blinking every second, indicating the programmed time duration.
- Once the desired time has elapsed, transmit another radio command to finalize the programming. The maximum programmable time is 18 hours. The programmed time is stored until the next programming or reset. If both relays are set to timed mode, a single operation can program the same activation time for both by pressing the learning button for 3 seconds until LED2 and LED3 are lit.
- The menu exits via timeout after 10 seconds of inactivity or by pressing the learning button for 3 seconds, which turns off all LEDs.
