- Charging Status: Displays Battery cells number, Battery Type, Working state, Battery Capacity Percentage, Current, Time, Battery total voltage, Current Charge In (Out), Battery Capacity, and the voltage of each individual battery cell. For example, it might show "LiPo 4.20V 14S Charging ... 33%", with a total voltage of "52.0V", capacity "2500mAh", time "0:06:10", and individual cell voltages like "3.71V".
- Color Indicators: Charging status is typically shown in Blue, while a completed charge is indicated in Green.
Important Information Tips & Fault Analysis
If the charger detects abnormal conditions, the LCD screen will display a fault indication with specific information and cause analysis:
Fault Message | Cause Analysis |
---|---|
Connection Break | No battery connection. Check if the main battery port and the charger are connected properly. |
Reverse Polarity | Battery polarity is reversed. Check the main battery port for proper polarity. |
Cell Voltage High | Balance port voltage abnormal. Check whether the battery balance port and charger connection are normal; test whether the battery voltage is normal. |
INT. TEMP High | Temperature protection. Check if the fan rotation is normal and if the external ambient temperature is too high. |
Over Load! | Current overload protection; charging current exceeds 30A, charging will be interrupted. |
Time Out! | When the battery is charged for more than 3 hours in the constant voltage phase, charging will stop. |
BMS Warning | Alarm markers appear in smart battery communication data with the BMS. |
Battery Type Setting
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please use this function carefully. Using the wrong battery type for charging can cause battery undercharge or overcharge, potentially leading to fire or explosion.
To set the battery type:
- Press the current key and the mode key simultaneously for one second until the selection window appears on the screen.
- Press these two keys again simultaneously to select the desired battery type from the following options: LiPo 4.20V, LiHV 4.35V, LiHV 4.40V, LiHV 4.45V.
- Press the [Start/Stop Button] within 5 seconds without any further operation to confirm the selection.
Storage Mode (Maintenance Mode)
For lithium batteries that will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to use the battery storage mode to charge/discharge the battery to a voltage of approximately 3.80V per cell. This helps to extend the battery's lifespan.
- If a battery's voltage is higher than 3.80V/cell, the charger will discharge it. The discharge current is limited to approximately 1.5A due to power limitations.
- If a battery's voltage is lower than 3.80V/cell, the charger will charge it.
To enter Storage Mode:
- Press the [Mode Button] to select the "Storage" mode.
- Long-press the [Start/Stop Button] to enter the Storage mode.
Important Warnings and Safety Tips
Please note the following warnings. Improper use of the charger can cause damage to the charger and battery, and may result in serious fire hazards.
- Do not use the charger unattended. If any abnormal operation occurs, interrupt the charging process immediately and consult the manual or relevant technical personnel.
- Ensure the charger is kept away from moisture, direct sunlight, rain, and strong vibrations.
- Before connecting to the power supply, carefully verify that the charger's input voltage setting matches the available AC power supply (110V or 220V).
- The charger's default battery type setting is "LiPo 4.20V". Before charging, always ensure that the selected battery type on the charger matches the actual type of the battery being charged.
