Firmware Update with USB Drive for Model BK2

Important:

Only FAT32 file systems are compatible for firmware update on NovoTouch BK series products.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. The upgrade package comes as a zip file. Unzip it first. The file naming convention is NT-B1000_XXXX_Firmware_update_using_USB.zip, where XXXX signifies the upgrade package version.
2. For BK2 series, copy the file “MstarUpgrade_HW10.bin” onto the root directory of a USB disk. The file structure on the USB disk should include 'mboot.bin', 'MstarUpgrade_HW10.bin', and 'rom_emmc_boot.bin'.
3. Power down the NovoTouch panel.
4. Insert the USB disk into the USB2.0 port on the side panel of the NovoTouch panel.
5. Press and hold the POWER button until the LED flashes red and blue quickly, indicating the upgrade process has started. Do NOT remove the USB disk during this process.
6. A progress bar will display the completion percentage. Once it reaches 100%, the NovoTouch will restart automatically. During this first-time boot-up, it will take a bit longer to perform additional post-processing.
7. Once it fully boots into the Android home screen, the firmware upgrade is completed. You can now unplug the USB disk.
