Teendow D20S MAX+ Common Fault Problem
Initial Setup and Connection
Follow these steps for initial setup and connecting to the mobile app:
- Remove protective items from the robot.
- Install the side brush by clicking it into place.
- Place the charging base on a level, non-slip, hard surface against a wall. Connect the power cable and fully charge the robot before first use.
Note for Auto-empty Charging Base: Ensure no objects are within 1.5m in front and 0.5m on both sides of the charging base. Do not cover the signal transmitting area. To avoid recharging failure, do not place the charging base on a carpet or blanket. For smooth return to the base, start cleaning from the charging base. Do not move the charging base during cleaning.
Connect to Mobile Client:
- Download the "Teendow" app from your app store.
- Open the app, register or log in, and tap "+" on the home page to add a device.
- Follow on-screen instructions to connect the robot. (Note: Only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band is supported.)

Additional Troubleshooting Scenarios
Problem Type | Solution |
---|---|
Unable to turn on. | 1) Ensure the charging base is connected to power and the robot is properly aligned. 2) Restart the system. If still not starting, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to force shutdown, then press for 3 seconds to start. |
Unable to charge. | 1) Check the charging base indicator light and power connections. 2) Ensure the robot is aligned with charging contacts. Check the robot's indicator light. 3) If not charging, turn off the robot, unplug the base, wipe charging contacts on both robot and base, then retry. Contact customer service if the problem persists. |
Unable to start. | 1) Ensure the robot is connected to power. 2) Ensure the robot is fully charged. 3) Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on. |
Unable to recharge. | 1) Clear obstacles near the charging base and ensure it's in an open area (1.5m front, 0.5m sides clear). 2) Wipe sensors (infrared obstacle avoidance, recharge sensor, beacon, charging contacts) with a dry cloth. 3) Place the robot near the charging base. |
Stop working suddenly. | 1) Check for foreign matter trapping the robot. 2) Check battery power. 3) Check for red light or fault indication and refer to "Troubleshooting". 4) Restart the system: long press power for 10 seconds to force shutdown, then press for 3 seconds to start. |
Abnormal behavior. | 1) Refer to "Troubleshooting" for fault prompts. 2) Wipe sensors with a dry cloth. Refer to "Routine Maintenance". 3) Reboot the robot. |
