Congratulations on your new drum pad!
Please read this guide carefully before you begin playing!
The Drum Pad Diagram
The drum pad unit features the following components:
- 1. Drum Pads: Eight circular pads for playing drum sounds.
- 2. Carrying Handle: Located at the top for portability.
- 3a & 3b. Rhythm Selection: Buttons arranged in rows and columns to select from 30 different rhythms.
- 4. On/Off Switch: Powers the unit on or off.
- 5. Classic Mode Button: Selects classic drum sounds.
- 6. Electronic Mode Button: Selects electronic drum sounds.
- 7. Stop Button: Stops the current rhythm or demo.
- 8. Sound Effects Buttons: Four buttons for special sound effects: [Cowbell 1 Sound], [Cowbell 2 Sound], [Woo Sound], [Scratch Sound].
- 9. Tempo Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts the tempo of the rhythms.
- 10. Drum/Rhythm Volume Sliders: Controls for adjusting the volume of drum sounds and rhythm accompaniments separately.
- 11. Drumstick Storage: A compartment for storing drumsticks.
- 12. MP3 Input: A 1/8-inch input jack (located on the side) for connecting an MP3 player.
Before You Play
Install Batteries
Always ask an adult to install the batteries for you.
This drum pad uses 4 size AA (1.5 V) batteries (included).
The battery compartment is located on the bottom panel of the drum pad.
To install batteries: Loosen the screw on the battery compartment door with a Phillips head screwdriver. Open the door and install the batteries, ensuring the negative (-) and positive (+) ends are correctly placed. Incorrect installation can damage the drum pad or cause an electrical hazard. Close the compartment door and tighten the screw.
Note: If batteries wear out, sound quality may deteriorate. Install a new set. If not using the drum pad for an extended period, remove the batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
Important
The [DEMO/PLAY Switch] is on the bottom panel. Switch to "PLAY" before use.
In DEMO mode, if no keys are pressed for 15 seconds, the drum pad enters sleep mode. Press any button to "wake up" the drum pad.
Playing the Drum Pad
To begin playing, switch the [DEMO/PLAY Switch] on the bottom panel to PLAY.
To turn the unit on, switch the [On/Off Switch] to ON.
Volume Controls
Drum Pad Volume: Slide the [Drum Pad Volume Slider] up or down to adjust the volume of the drum pads.
Rhythm Volume: Slide the [Rhythm Volume Slider] up or down to adjust the volume of the rhythm selections.
Tempo Control
To change tempo, press the [Tempo Up Button] or [Tempo Down Button].
Classic and Electronic Mode
Each drum pad can produce one or two sounds. Press the [Classic Mode Button] for classic sounds, or the [Electronic Mode Button] for electronic sounds.
Classic Mode Sounds:
- Hi Hats
- Ride Cymbal
- Crash Cymbal
- Bass Drum
- Snare Drum
- Small Tom
- Medium Tom
- Floor Tom
Electronic Mode Sounds:
- Hi Hats
- Ride Cymbal
- Crash Cymbal
- Electronic Bass Drum
- Electronic Snare Drum
- Electronic Small Tom
- Electronic Medium Tom
- Electronic Floor Tom
Sound Effects
These four sound effects can be played at any time:
[Cowbell 1 Sound], [Cowbell 2 Sound], [Woo Sound], [Scratch Sound]
Rhythm Selection
Choose from 30 different RHYTHMS. To select a rhythm, press the button for the desired row (3a), then press the button for the desired column (3b).
Example: To choose the DANCE rhythm, press the first button on the bottom row and the top button on the side.
The LEDs will indicate the buttons you have chosen.
Press the [Stop Button] to exit any rhythm.
MP3 Input
The 1/8-inch input jack allows you to plug in your MP3 player and play along with your favorite tunes.
Important Safety Instructions
WARNINGS
- Do not change parts without professional instructions, as any change may cause malfunctions.
- Keep the wrapping bag out of the reach of children to avoid a choking hazard.
- Always move the drum pad carefully to avoid damage to its outer covering and inner components.
- The drum pad should not come into contact with acid or alkali. It should not be operated in corrosive or excessively moist air to avoid corrosion of electrical contacts.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet or a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio TV technician for help.
General Usage Instructions
- Read and follow all instructions.
- Do not use this device near water.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not use near any heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, or other heat-producing machinery.
- Only use the attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the drum pad has been damaged in any way, liquid has been spilled onto it, it has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
