Operating Instructions

Anti-reverse Lever

ON: The handle can only turn forward.

OFF: The handle can turn forward and backward.

Changing Handle Position (Left to Right)

Screw-in Handle Style:

1. Remove the handle screw cap.
2. Turn the handle clockwise and detach the handle assembly.
3. Reassemble in reverse order.
4. Put on the handle screw cap.

Lock-in Handle Style:

1. Turn the handle screw cap counter-clockwise and remove it.
2. Remove the handle and place it on the right side.
3. Replace the handle screw cap on the left side.
4. Tighten the handle screw cap by turning it clockwise.

Note: Some models require a handle shaft change when switching the handle position.

Spool Removal & Attachment

• Removal: Turn the drag knob counter-clockwise until the spool detaches.
• Attachment: Slowly turn the spool while sliding it onto the spool shaft until it is fully seated. Fasten it by turning the drag knob clockwise.

Winding Line

1. Attach the reel to the rod.
2. Tighten the drag.
3. Tie the line to the spool and secure it with tape.
4. Turn the handle to begin winding. Hold the line spool vertical and apply tension while winding until the spool is full.

Adjusting Line Shape on Spool

• A: Setting upon delivery.
• B: To wind more towards the back, increase the number of washers on the spool shaft.
• C: To wind more towards the front, reduce the number of washers on the spool shaft.

Casting

1. Grab the line with your finger (Fig. 1).
2. Open the bail (Fig. 2).
3. Swing the rod and cast.

Caution: Ensure the drag is sufficiently tightened during casting. If the drag is too loose, the spinning spool can cause finger injury.

Drag Tension Adjustment

Drag tension adjustment allows the spool to rotate and prevent line breakage when a fish pulls hard. Mount the reel on the rod, pass the line through the guides. With the anti-reverse on, pull the line and adjust the drag knob. Turning clockwise increases tension; counter-clockwise reduces it. Adjust so the line begins to feed off just before the breaking point. Always tighten the drag for long casts to prevent slippage and potential injury.

Maintenance for Use in Saltwater Environments

Rinsing

Use a showerhead under low pressure to rinse with fresh water and wash away salt and dirt. Avoid hot water and do not immerse the reel. Avoid high-pressure washing.

Drying

Drain off water thoroughly. Dry in a shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight. Removing the maintenance port cap is recommended for effective draining and drying.

Oil & Grease Use

Apply oil and grease as indicated in the diagrams. Perform lubrication in a well-ventilated area.

• Oil Injection (Body, Line Roller): Remove the cap with a flat-head screwdriver and apply 1-2 drops of oil. Reattach the cap securely. Recommended lubrication is once every 5 fishing trips or if the next trip is over a month away. Do not over-apply grease, as it may affect the anti-reverse function.
• Line Roller Oil Injection: Insert the nozzle of the grease spray into the injection port and press briefly.

Attention: To prevent oil or grease from spilling onto clothes, remove the spool and cover the line roller area with a clean cloth before spraying. Wipe the line roller surface after spraying.

Note: Do not apply grease to the roller clutch or inside the rotor, as this can cause the anti-reverse to malfunction.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, excluding damage from improper use, accidents, or human error. Retain your purchase receipt for service.
