Introduction
This camera series is the latest technology and advanced circuit design, which features high definition and sensitivity, low noise and distortion and supports HD video transmission with the common coaxial cable, ensuring the requirement of the HD monitoring in the traditional surveillance system.
Key Features:
- High Resolution: Adopt high performance sensor, providing high definition and clear image.
- High Transmission Performance: Real-time transmission with high speed and long distance.
- DNR: Reduce noise from brightness and color signal.
- OSD: Access the camera settings which can be clearly displayed through the main menu.
- White Balance: Adjust the color temperature according to the environment automatically.
- ICR Auto Switch: The filter will filter infrared light during the daytime and change to normal at night to ensure a high sensitivity and clear image.
- AGC: Adjust the gain of amplifier, enabling the camera to output the standard video signal in different lighting condition.
- Wide Dynamic Range (WDR): When there are both very bright and very dark areas simultaneously in the field of view, this function will balance the brightness level and provide clear images.
- Backlight Compensation (BLC): When the back of the captured object is too much bright, you can set BLC for the captured object to make it clearer.
Cables
The diagram shows three cables: Video Output, Video Switch Cable, and Power Cable.
Video Switch: Four video output modes can be optional--AHD, TVI, CVI and CVBS. (a) remove the cover of the video switch cable; (b) hold and press the button in the video switch cable for 5 seconds to switch the current video output.
Installation
Before you start, please make sure that the wall or ceiling is strong enough to withstand three times the weight of the camera. Please install and use the camera in the dry environment. You'd better install back the lens cover or lower dome less than 4 hours after removing it. The mounting types of cameras are only for reference.
Mounting for V5B1/V5T1
- Drill the screw holes and the cable hole on the wall according to the drill template.
V5B1 Mounting Template: A diagram shows the V5B1 mounting template with dimensions: 48mm x 48mm for screw holes, and 4.5mm diameter for screw holes.
V5B1M Mounting Template: A diagram shows the V5B1M mounting template with dimensions: 48mm x 48mm for screw holes, and 4.6mm diameter for screw holes.
- Route and connect the cables.
- Secure the mounting base with camera to the wall with screws as shown below.
Bracket Adjustment V5B1/V5B1M:
- Bracket adjustment. Before adjustment, preview the image of the camera on a monitor and then loosen the fixed ring to adjust the view angle of the camera. Tighten the fixed ring after the adjustment.
V5B1 Adjustment: Diagram shows V5B1 with adjustable angles: Tilt 80°, Pan 360°.
V5B1M Adjustment: Diagram shows V5B1M with adjustable angles: 360° Rotation, 360° Pan, 90° Tilt.
Mounting for Dome Camera (V5D1/V5D1M)
- Attach the drill template to the place where you want to fix the camera and then drill the screw holes and the cable hole on the wall according to the drill template.
V5D1 Mounting Template: A diagram shows the V5D1 mounting template with dimensions: 74.3mm x 74.3mm for screw holes, and 4.6mm diameter for screw holes.
V5D1M Mounting Template: A diagram shows the V5D1M mounting template with dimensions: 90.2mm diameter for screw holes, and 4.6mm diameter for screw holes.
- Rotate the trim ring anticlockwise to remove it from the camera.
- Loosen the screws to open the lower dome. Then route and connect the cables.
- Secure the camera to the wall with screws provided as shown below.
Note: A rubber plug is shown, to be installed when routing cables through the ceiling.
- Three-axis adjustment. Before adjustment, preview the image of the camera on a monitor and then adjust the camera according to the figure below to get an optimum angle.
V5D1 Adjustment: Diagram shows V5D1 with adjustable angles: Pan 0°~355°, Tilt 0°~67°, Rotation 0°~355°.
V5D1M Adjustment: Diagram shows V5D1M with adjustable angles: Pan 0°~345°, Tilt 0°~77°, Turn, Rotation 0°~345°.
- Install the lower dome back to the camera and fix it with screws. Then put the trim ring onto the lower dome and then rotate it clockwise until it is locked. Finally, remove the protection film softly.
Mounting for V5T1/V5T1M
- Drill the screw holes and the cable hole on the wall according to the drill template.
V5T1 Mounting Template: A diagram shows the V5T1 mounting template with dimensions: 44.2mm x 38.2mm for screw holes, 51.0mm diameter for screw holes, and 4.5mm diameter for screw holes.
