Optional Radio Functions

Time-Out Timer (TOT)

The Time-Out Timer prevents a channel from being occupied for an extended period. If transmission exceeds 10 seconds, the radio will stop transmitting and enter an alarm state. Releasing the PTT button will return the radio to standby mode.

Battery Saver

This feature reduces power consumption. If there is no signal or operation for 10 seconds, the battery saver function will automatically activate. When a signal is received or an operation occurs, the radio will return to normal mode.

Low Battery Alert

When the battery voltage is low, the radio will emit a "please charge" tone, indicating that the battery needs to be replaced or recharged.

QT and DQT

This function helps to avoid receiving calls from unintended users on the same channel. With QT (Quiet Tone) and DQT (Digital Quiet Tone), users will only receive calls on channels with matching QT or DQT settings.

Monitor

This function can be activated by pressing and holding a predefined button. Pressing the monitor button changes the signal indicator to green, allowing users to monitor channel activity.

Advanced Functions

Scan

Scan allows the radio to search for signals on programmed channels. When a signal is detected on a channel, the walkie-talkie will remain on that channel. Channels not programmed or not set for scanning will be skipped.

Selectable Wide/Narrow Band (25 KHz/12.5KHz)

Through the programming software, users can select either wide band (25kHz) or narrow band (12.5kHz) settings as needed.

Squelch Level

The squelch level refers to an analog reference level that sets the internal CPU's squelch threshold. The range is 0-9. A lower squelch level makes it easier to receive signals but may also pick up interference. A higher level requires a stronger signal to open the squelch, providing better sensitivity. It is recommended to set a medium level.

VOX Function

The VOX function allows for voice-activated transmission without pressing the PTT button. When activated, transmission can be initiated directly by voice. The voice transmission will automatically stop after a period of inactivity. The VOX sensitivity level can be adjusted from 1 to 9 or turned off via the programming software.

Selectable High/Low Power

Depending on the environment, users can select between high or low power output through the PC programming software.

PC Programming

The PC programming software allows users to customize the settings of the walkie-talkie.

Voice Message English/Chinese

Users can set the voice prompt language to English or Chinese through the programming software.

Safety Information and Warnings

Please read this information before using the radio. Radio operation in your country is subject to the terms of your license.
