Installing AA Batteries and Memory Card
- Open the Battery Cover Door.
- Insert the AA Batteries into the battery compartment.
- Insert the Memory Card into the memory slot.
- Close the Battery Cover Door.
Setting the Language/Date/Time
- Turn the camera on using the Power Switch. The language menu will appear. Use the navigation buttons [⬆️]/[⬇️]/[⬅️]/[➡️] to select a language and press the SET button ✔️ to confirm.
- Use the navigation buttons [⬆️]/[⬇️]/[⬅️]/[➡️] again to set the date and time, and press the SET button ✔️ to confirm.
Taking a Picture
- Hold the camera securely.
- Use the Zoom Lever ? to zoom in or out on your subject.
- Press the Shutter Button ? halfway down to focus on the subject. When the focus frame turns green, press the Shutter Button ? completely down to take your photo.
Using the Mode Dial ⚙️
This camera features a convenient Mode Dial for easy switching between different camera settings. Available modes include:
- Auto Mode
- P Program AE
- S Shutter Priority

Using the Fast Video Recording Button ▶️
In Shooting Mode, press the button ▶️ to begin recording a video. Press the button ▶️ again to stop recording. The camera will save the video and return to the shooting screen.
Using the Menu Button ☰
In each mode, press the Menu Button ☰ to access the "Easy Menu". Use the navigation buttons [⬆️]/[⬇️] to move between options, then press the SET button ✔️ to make a selection. Selecting an option within this list will provide access to the "Full Menu".

Battery Usage Precautions
For optimal performance, use brand-name batteries (such as Energizer® or Duracell®). Do not mix new and old batteries or use different brands. Replace all 4 batteries simultaneously.
The performance and life expectancy of alkaline batteries vary by brand.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, etc.) batteries.
